"If you're lookkkg for Chinese food do not do this!!!! Was excited to try the Asian concept by wonder as the rest are pretty decent. This was not it! The wonton soup was super bland. The lomen looks and taste like each ingredient was placed in the bow pre cooked and nothing makes sense or is really sauced. For the lomen the chicken was fully white. Ribs I think were from the bbq concept with some sauce that didn't taste like char sui at all. Dumplings and green beans were ok. Portion was decent. Would not order from this concept again."

"I had gotten the Plate with the Orange Chicken, Sweet Fire chicken breast, half noddles, and half rice. I wanted the Black Peppered chicken but they didn't have it. So they called me and I changed it to the Sweet Fire chicken (you can't go wrong with it if you like the sweet tang from the pineapple and a bit of spice from the peppers). The Peach Lychee Flavored Refresher was sweet and had a bit of a tartness to it. The ice really helped balance it out. I hope it's a drink they would keep for a long time. The employee at the restaurant was so nice. They even hooked me up with so much food that I had leftovers. "Magic Gourd's Sweet & Sour Pork is our favorite dish to order when we are visiting DC every year! First time ordering with DoorDash from them, and they perfectly separated out the pieces of the dish (pork & lite veggies, sauce, and steamed rice) separated in their own containers to not get soggy and control the amount of sauce. Egg Drop Soup is always a classic and not over salted, and the (pork steamed) Dumplings were all eaten by my mother (we were supposed to share) and I can safely say they were yummy according to her. "Absolutely delicious! We like other Peter Chang-owned restaurants and this one is great, too! The Homestyle Stir-Fried Pork Belly was amazing - tender, beautifully spiced and a generous portion. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp were addictive - well seasoned (but not spicy at all) and cooked perfectly. They'd make a great appetizer shared among several people. They were so delicious that my 11 year old stole some even though she's usually quite picky. She also really enjoyed her Combo Lo Mein. The Sweet and Sour Chicken Slices were also great. Very flavorful with a perfect balance of sweetness. The Dry-Fried Eggplant was very tasty - crispy even though it had to travel here from the restaurant and well seasoned. The only slight let down was the golden mountain Golden Mountain Beef. We've had the Golden Mountain Chicken at other PC restaurants and it works better as chicken. The texture of some, but not all, of the pieces of the beef was stringy and a little dry. Over all it was a wonderful meal and we will order again!"

And the duck didn't come with a side of rice. They are very bad about noting which mains come with a side of rice or not and do not have a stand alone option to order one. For the price - the inconsistency has made it not worth ordering from here anymore."
