"Snow Crab Salad was small but flavorful. Crabstick Tempura (5 Pcs) they were half sticks. Cucumber Roll menu says crab meat but I didn't see or taste any. sushi was the size of a nickel. prices equal size of food. all was good"
"Steak was overcooked but still very tender and flavorful. Good Crab Rangoon if you like them on the sweeter side like I do. The miso soup didn't taste like miso. Not bad, just different. Iowa Roll was good quality for how little it cost. (D) Steak Bento was plenty of food. So happy there's a Japanese restaurant on the south side. I'll be ordering from here again!"

"This was so, so good! The Shrimp Rangoons are stuffed full of cream cheese, not dry like other places. The Spicy Kimchi Ramen Pork was absolutely delicious, though I'd probably only rate it a 2/5 for spiciness. The Crab Cheese Mango Roll was very fresh and the flavor was great. I'll definitely be eating here again!"
"Beef Kimchi Fried Rice was well spiced, but I expected a larger amount of beef for the $18 cost, and the Korean Fried Chicken was really dry, but it was nice and crispy. the sauce was very good as well."

"I love Akebono! The last time I ordered it, it wasn't great but I gave it another try because I'd had so many good experiences before. Tonight everything was perfect. The Philly Roll was fresh and plump, the Compressor Roll was saucy, the Pork Dumplings were tasty if a little salty and the Oh Snap Roll was something I hadn't had before but will definitely get again. "
"I thought the Crispy Rolls and Dynamite Mussels would be better especially when you're paying around $13 for only four of them. They changed something about the Akebono Edamame and it wasn't as good as usual. The miso soup was good and the malibu crunch roll was decent enough."

"This was my first time ordering from

The food was excellent! The portions were excellent! Tha value was excellent !
I ordered three things because I was a hungry

"So.. Let's begin with the salmon. The salmon had two asparagus that were welshed and overcooked the salmon was extremely dry and well overcooked no flavor oh orchard crisp I was to Surprised to see a 4oz salmon looking like 2 oz and let down for the additional charge of Lobster mashed potatoes were dry and no lobster flavor. salmon plate was inedible. My clear soup was great. My happy ending maki was okay. The tuna tataki roll was okay as well. Poke bowl was delicious but seem more like a fat cutter and a dessert or inbetweener of switching to dessert. The tuna tataki was well balanced. Ikura nigiri good. Hamachi nigiri was good. And the timely manner for taking over an hour should have been perfect for that timely matter.. will I try it again!?.. "Food was very good. But $11 for a 5 piece roll (birthday roll) and $8 for 2 pieces of spring rolls is criminal. "This place will wow you! The flavor, portions and price were all perfect. The General Tsao's Chicken is not as sweet and syrupy as you get at other places. It's also fried hard. Both of those were pluses for me. Most people can probably tolerate a 3 spice level. I prefer the 4. Every element of the Combination Fried Rice was well prepared. The beef was not that gray chewy stuff you get other places. It was beautifully seared and flavorful. The shrimp were larger than average and not overcooked. They were well seasoned too. Do yourself a favor and try this place."
"Best Chinese food in the metro! Was devastated when Shang Yuen switched ownership but so happy the family recipes live on through Heavenly! The beef is so tender! The chicken so crispy! "My first time ordering from here.. This is what I've been craving for!!
The taste and texture is just perfect. Very flavorful great portions of protein . The rice is just perfectly cooked sooooo good even alone !
Thanks so much!"
"I lived in California for a couple years and discovered poke -- now that I've been back home for a while, this is the best I've found in the state. Great portions, family-run, and the quality is the same as you'd find on the west coast. The "competitor" in Des Moines is nothing compared to here. 10/10!"

"The best crab Rangoon but needs to come with more sweet and sour sauce. The sesame chicken entree - I appreciate the smaller, crispier chunks of chicken the most but would like more sauces Everything is always fresh even when ordering for delivery."
"Don't normally leave reviews, but here we go. We paid $90 for the worst sushi experience of our lives. Crab Rangoons were the best part minus their temp. Not sure what the pink mystery wrapping was around the Cupid Roll? There were lemon slices, including the peel, hidden under the sauce on the Chef Special Roll. Lemon is all we could taste. The portion size of the Mad Max and French Kiss rolls were small, and similar to the size of $8 regular roll. We would have been better off picking out sushi from Gateway Market or Hy-Vee. This may explain why the restaurant was empty at 7:20pm on a Saturday night. We won't be back."

"Everything was absolutely amazing. I will definitely order again anytime I'm in town. I've had regular wonton soup but had never had Shrimp Wonton Soup and the flavor was savoringly delightful. 10/10"
"Speed of delivery, food temp, food packaging were all great but the food itself was terribly bland specifically the Pad See Ew. The egg rolls were nice and warm but had very little stuffing inside of it - it was mainly egg roll wrapper wrapped within itself. Highly dissatisfied. I ended up throwing most of it away in the garbage. "

"The Hawaiian BBQ Short Ribs were amazing. Tense and great flavor. The Kalua Pork with Cabbage made me smile when I took my first bite. "This was my first order from this restaurant. I tried the Shrimp Pancakes . It is a full meal and very tasty. I ate it all in one go it was so good. Since it was listed in the small bites section, I also ordered the Shrimp Chips . I really couldn't taste the Shrimp, but they were a lovely texture and tasty. I will be back for sure."
"The food was SO GOOD!! Literally everything! We got the Beef Bulgogi with Beef Bulgogi with Rice, Curry Puff (1pc), Egg Tarts, and the Shrimp Pancakes. We were floored! "I've been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. Amazing flavors. Great portion sizes. So fresh. Soy garlic chicken Wings phenomenal. Mexican Korean Street Corn great flavor. Korean Cucumber Salad nice crunch and flavor. I'll tell all my friends about this place, and will order many times over."
"Having had Korean Fried Chicken in Seoul, Bonchon has knocked it out of the park! The Drumsticks were crispy, mouth watering spicy and oh so delicious. The Sotteok Sotteok was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the glaze in the rice cakes just added to the experience. The Kimchi is mild enough for those that don't like a lot of spice bit still has plenty of flavor. Definitely will be ordering from Bonchon again!"

"My girlfriend and I tried this place for the first time tonight and the highest compliment that I can give it is. we're already looking forward to ordering it again. I would most highly recommend the wings (which have the perfect level of crunch), the cheese balls which are slightly sweet, and the French fries which have a really unique seasoning. Everything that we tasted on the menu was delicious though! Food arrived hot and fresh! Combo (Wings & Drums) Korean Cheese Ball Seasoned Fries"
"First time trying and wings are delicious! very nice crunch on the outside, inside cooked perfectly. I got the soy garlic - excellent flavor. I wish I had a side of it as a sauce to dip in. Also did not realize that by the size small: 4 wings, 2 drums - that it was two regular size legs, nice surprise! will order again "
