"The Birria Fries were incredible. The fries stayed crispy under all the toppings, and the birria itself was tender and packed with flavor. Everything was well-balanced, and the portion was generous. It’s comfort food done right—simple but full of flavor."
"I ordered the Mexicali Burrito (smothered) and a cup of elote. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The elote appeared overcooked or not fresh—the kernels were dull tan/brown in color and had an off taste, so I couldn’t finish it.
The chili on the burrito also missed the mark. It tasted more like a flour-based gravy than a proper green chili, with a noticeable flour flavor and an unrefined texture. Inside the burrito, the meat el pastor was actually good,
but the fries were overly greasy and soggy. The pico de gallo was unbalanced as well, lacking tomato and jalapeño and consisting mostly of cilantro and red onion, which didn’t pair well with the rest of the dish and the guacamole wasn't real.
Overall, the meal fell short in both quality and execution, and I won’t be returning."
