They were in large covered styrofoam to-go boxes, the type with compartments and it was loaded with food and HEAVY! No one could ever claim to be hungry after eating that.
We each had honey garlic chicken and fried rice as our main courses and we were sent two containers of the honey garlic sauce in case we wanted it more saucy.
Honey Garlic Chicken is what we order wherever we eat Chinese food. We both love it and we can really judge a Chinese restaurant by the way this dish tastes. At Chef Tai's This Dish Is A Winner!!! Best we've had in all the years we've been here. Definitely this takeout restaurant goes on our rotation!
As for pricing, I am so happy to say that I finally found an affordable place for great chinese food! We DoorDashed it and the food was at our door in Delray within 30 minutes of ordering it! We are soooo pleased with everything about Chef Tai's Chinese Take Out. We plan on becoming "regulars" right from the start. "

"To begin with, we have ordered from Chinatown for around a decade and had decent consistant quality. This time the Chow Mein was runny, bland and worse than canned grocery store equivalent. Then there was the Egg Fu Yung which had always been well made and right out of the wok with all the "rough" edges and sort of dome shaped patty. What I got tonight was two egg patties that were perfectly symmetrical, very light in color without the expected bumps from the veggies and pork mixed in. The patties were perfectly flat and round and had never seen a wok in their existance. The usually thick brown sauce with a nice and recognizable flavor was watery and light brown with little flavor at all. The Krab Rangoon had never seen a fryer and though the turned up edges were a little crisp, the bottoms were flat and not at all crisp. They had not been deep fried and looked machine made, frozen and then baked in a toaster oven. The same with the Egg Roll. It was so smooth and symmetrical it looked machine made with the edges of the wrap pressed into itself that it had beed rolled flat, so even though this was deep fried, it was surely machine made and probably frozen.
This was by far the worst I've ever had and whether it was some kind of experiment with new suppliers or a new cook, after nearly ten years of decent reliable food, this is the last time I am ordering pick-up or delivery from Chinatown! The swiftly bumped up prices during and after the pandemic was bad enough, but higher prices with strikingly worse quality is impossible to ignore!"

"I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to. I decided to splurge on P.F. Chang’s for my birthday dinner and was shocked by how underwhelming everything was.
The portions were surprisingly small and didn’t even fill the bottom of the containers. Unfortunately, the bigger issue was the lack of flavor. The egg drop soup was completely tasteless. I wasn’t provided any soy sauce, and the soup wasn’t enjoyable until I added some from home. Thank goodness I had some.
The lo mein and teriyaki were equally bland and lacked the bold flavors you’d expect from dishes at this price point. To top it off, the butter cake was extremely dry and dense and had little flavor as well :(
I spent $71 on this meal and genuinely feel it wasn’t worth it. I’m leaving this review in the hope that the restaurant pays attention to food quality and consistency, because this was far below what I expected from P.F. Chang’s."
