Broken Yolk Café is usually a five-star experience for me. I order through DoorDash all the time and it’s consistently great — the food is well packaged, arrives hot, and tastes amazing.
Today, though, they got my eggs wrong. I ordered the American Breakfast and I requested over medium but received scrambled instead. I was hungry and the rest of the meal was so good that I ate it anyway, but it was definitely disappointing to get something different than what I ordered, especially since DoorDash allows for those customizations.
That said, everything else was spot on. Their sausage patties are ridiculously good probably the best I’ve ever had. There’s a flavor in there that’s subtle but so unique, like a perfect seasoning blend that makes them stand out.
Even with this one mistake, I’ll still order again. They’ve been reliable every other time. Four stars today, but I’m confident they’ll be back to five stars on the next order."

"I ordered the NASHVILLE FIRE SANDWICH COMBO and started with HOT spice level (the most "mild"). I love spicy however I wanted to make sure I didn't go with too much heat just in case since this was my first time ordering here. The spice level had a good kick to it next time I will order the next hottest level. The sandwich was cut in half like I ordered and had a great crunch from the chicken and pickles. It was very well prepared and very tasty I was very happy with ordering here. I tried Dave's before and did not like it so I wanted to try a new place and was thoroughly satisfied. The bun and sandwich tasted fresh and was very good. I ordered the combo which came with a ton of French fries they were both crunchy and soft which I loved. The REG - MAC-N-CHEESE was definitely good as well the white cheese sauce had more flavor than I expected. And the REG - CHILI CHEESE FRIES were really good with a generous chili cheese rationing. The portion of the French fry orders were huge so I definitely have leftovers. I give them 5 stars because the presentation was nice the sandwich was really fresh and actually delicious. If you like heat definitely try the next heat levels the most "mild" option was still spicy but I know for spicy lovers you can handle hotter. Thanks to the restaurant I will be ordering again for sure. "

"The food was amazing. OXTAILS bowl was so good and super tender. the only thing i wish is that it came with like a extra gravy option... not that it was dry but because I like my food wet. my husband enjoyed the jerk Chicken and you do get a half of chicken.... Definitely your money worth!"
