"First off I ordered the Strawberry Lemon French Macaron - 6 Count and didnt get them I got the 12 count variety ones instead and they were stale. The banana peppers on my sandwich were gross they didn’t taste fresh at all. I work in the food industry and know what fresh ingredients taste like and the banana peppers i got were completely gross. They also didn’t toast the meat and cheese like I requested and the sub was drowned in oil although I did ask for the oil the 3 layers of wrapping the small sandwich came it were completely soaked. Also they packaged each item individually which is a huge waste of paper the big bag they put just the condiments and macarons in although it was big enough to fit all 3 of the items i ordered. Then they put my sandwich in a whole other bag then put the sandwich inside a bag with two sandwich papers wrapped around it. Then the pizza logs came packaged in a box 3 times the size of the logs themselves... Just a lot of paper waste. The only good thing about my order was the Pizza Logs they were good and still hot when they got here. "

"Ordinarily I had really enjoyed this restaurant in the past. So when I ordered from here last night I was enthusiastic about getting my meal. However when it came there were problems. First was the appetizer which for the money spent was pretty lame. This was their sampler. There were two hard cheese stick, 2 Chicken tenders, 2 overfried taquitos and a small chicken quesadilla. I will say the quesadilla was good but tiny. We got the guacamole dip which was also good but there were no chips. Luckily I had some bag chips. My husband liked the enchiladas but they were out of the tamales he ordered. My seafood chimichanga was supposed to be deep fried but what I got was burnt. Also...they used to make them with both crab and shrimp and were stuffed. Now you have to choose and there wasn't much in it. I chose the crab and it was the real kind. The rice and beans with the cheese sauce were good. The fajita chimichanga looks like a mushfest because they put so much cheese sauce on it I couldn't tell that there were beans and rice. All the condiments provided were fresh and tasty. The "salad" side for the chimichanga also seemed fresh. I will probably not order from them again...at least for quite awhile.
Our dasher was nice and let my son know about the tamales when he did the drop off. "

"Food just tasted gross... the $15 stuffing you can just buy at any grocery store... it's frozen food, not homemade. The sliders were soggy on the bottom and the bread was hard and stale at the top. The bacon broccoli side was just bland. The chicken salad was ok but not enough to order from here again. If you're buying a whole ham for the holidays, it's fine but Iwould limit it to that.
We ended up making frozen pizza for dinner... waste of money."

"Food was okay, im from PR and eat Cuban often. Price point is on brand for Frederick but the flavors and quantity do not match the price. The food lacks that Cuban feel im used to. The rice was overcooked (fell more to the stricky rice area). Beans lacked flavor and was soupy and not guisada.
The Bistec de Palomilla (Cuban Grilled Steak) was okay, flavor was bland and onions was not cooked enough so some were on the raw side and some were cooked.
The Empanadas were ok, only complaint is the the paper theunormally wrap the food in was fried with my empanadas and stuck to the side of them.
The Tostones I was disappointed in. I love a thin and crispy one but I got 5 of the thinnest tostones for $6. It was probably not even a third of the platano. I would say they were good but that price should come done or serve up maybe a few more.
The mojos were ok, the garlic mojo tastes like it has been sitting for sometime though.
Lastly, the Tres Leche $8 and you can taste that it is not that fresh. Could be some of the milk ingredients used. Im leaning towards the sauce spread over top and perhaps it was sitting longer than it should.
I have had food here before and was not a fan but wanted to try again.
I would have given a better rating to the Empanadas if there was not fried paper attached.
