The mashed potatoes, like I said, were dry, bland and honestly tasted old and not fresh at all.
Ultimately, super disappointed. I used to really enjoy cracker barrel, but it seems the food quality isn't very good. For $20 a meal, I expected better. I couldn't really tolerate what I ate, and my father wasn't too thrilled with his, either. (We got the same thing, except he got a loaded baked potato instead of the hashbrown casserole)

You can tell the ingredients were fresh but as far as taste, it needs A LOT of work. Bacon & Cheese Omelet was OK because of the portion but the homefries underneath was mostly what you taste. Everything tasted as if it was only cooked and put together, fresh but no flavor and no seasoning. Bowl Of Grits was disappointing. I love grits but these were too clumpy and mushy. Bread was soft but that's to be expected considering it was in with the omelet in the container."

I was expecting something along the line of the Cobb salad I always used to order from another chain restaurant.. I wasn't prepared for what was delivered . Basilicos Cobb can be nothing more than freshly made at the order...the greens are the best Ive ever had in a salad of any kind, the flavor was only enhanced by the bacon, (real), the red onions, egg,olives( which are a slightly salty perfect addition, the chicken , which is moist and adds to the flavor mix.. I've ordered twice from this little gem of a restaurant.. the salad is perfect every time.. my latest order included Apple bread pudding, and Im in heaven!
