"Several weeks ago I took my mom, son and 2 grandkids to Eckerts for a late breakfast/early lunch. The grands (12 and 10) shunned the kids menu and ordered adult meals! A the table we enjoyed Chicken Pot Pie, Caesar salad, chicken and waffles, chicken and dumplings and pulled pork lunch. Every thing was wonderful and every bite eaten. The service was excellent and the waitress treated the kids as adults which is the way they want to be treated.
My only complaint was I missed the biscuits and apple butter that used to accompany every meal. "

"I like their Bone In Wings (Full). They are simple and not over fried. I recently got the hot honey which is simple, thin and not too sweet, not too hot. I got the sauce on the side and when they arrived, I tossed them in the sauce and air fried them. They charred a bit which I liked, and they were juicy inside.
A full order is usually 12-14 wings. They are not crispy, again, I like it that way. You can crisp them in the air fryer if you want.
Only complaint is that usually when the food arrives, the tops on the sauces have popped off from the heat and have leaked.

"I am trying this for the first time so this is a fresh review. I'm highly disappointed in the cheese fries as it looks like there's maybe half a slice of American cheese on this whole box and it the fries are half burnt as well so they taste bitter. I was impressed by the 5 dollar shake as they sent the extra shake in a 2nd cup. I added grilled onions and an avocado to my sunrise burger and it did not come with either. The burger itself was decent, but everything food wise was very underseasoned and could use a little bit of salt and pepper.  in comparison to other similar diners I feel like this food is overpriced for what you're receiving other than the shakes."
