"I never would have thought of IHOP for seafood.... but I am pleasantly surprised to have found the BEST battered fish I have had since leaving Boston and moving here more than 10 years ago.
Whether you order the fish, the shrimp, or the combo, you cannot go wrong. The batter on the fish was delicious, light and crispy. The breading on the shrimp was also fried to perfection. (I LOVE that they don't go so heavy on the breading that you lose the shrimp flavor!)

"After several years of patronage and over 50+ total orders, I'm officially done with this place. The chicken is always char grilled well, but the portion sizes remain wildly inconsistent. Today, I ordered the chicken shawarma requesting no lettuce and no tomatoes. This is what I received - a soggy pita with TWO pieces of chicken. TWO. Beyond egregious, bordering on offensive. I've ordered this menu item 34 times because I crave it. But only about 50% of the time were the portions reasonable. The managers need to implement better quality control measures. Joke's on me for giving so much benefit of doubt.
But save yourself the time and trouble and just go elsewhere. I recommend Mika's Greek on Thomas or Nino's Greek on 16th St -- both are consistently leaps and bounds better in quality and quantity for the price than Nick's. "

"Wow we just gave the new Hummus Republic a try today for the first time and we were blown away with how fresh and delicious everything was!
The pita was the best I've ever had! It was jam packed, but thoughtfully so and structurally held up extremely well. The pita bread was soft and delicious. All of the veggies were fresh and tasty, the lamb and the harissa hummus were perfect.
We also ordered a bowl with the chicken shawarma which was also very good but we agreed the pita was the super star. We ordered the pita chips with 4 of the different hummus options and those were incredible. Absolutely loved the pita chips, the texture was 10/10, soft but crunchy with the za'tar seasoning, they were so good just on their own. Our favorite hummus was hands down the harissa flavor, as well as the original.
So happy to have Hummus Republic in Surprise! We desperately needed a delicious, fresh, healthy option out here and you hit all the marks and then some! Can't wait to go back again!"
