"I've been trying to find menudo I like in modern Wichita after a few recommendations turning out badly, and I might've finally found a stalwart (on a Tuesday, no less!). This is 32 ounces of hominy-free red Menudo with a nice variety of tripe and a clean-tasting broth. It comes with your choice of bread or tortillas. I opted for bread tonight and was a little disappointed when I saw that it was just lightly toasted slices of French bread, but it held up well as an accompaniment. This was a generous portion of four enchiladas, bistec a la milanesa, carrots, potatoes, a side of rice, and a salad of iceberg, tomato, and onion atop sour cream, with a few pickled escabeche vegetables. Also something I'll be reordering.
