"I'm not even going to lie. This was very good. I expected low quality based on my experiences with certain other Chinese takeout places in the area. What I recieved was genuinely satisfying, robust, delicious Americanized Chinese food. The wonton soup was particularly excellent -- tasty and fresh, with large, moist, well wrapped wontons and a simple but effective broth. The beef teriyaki was tender and sweet. The orange chicken was decently spicy and definitely oversauced with a sort of sickly sweet flavor, but what else would you expect from orange chicken? The meat was white and the coating crispy. I wasn't a fan of the fried rice, but I'm spoiled. Overall a really positive experience, and better than similarly priced Chinese places in Portland."

"Delicious!! This was only my second time getting Ruby Thailand and it's become my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. It was fast and fresh. It wasn't too salty and all the food had enough flavor on its own that it didn't need any extra sauces and everything tasted extremely fresh. I decided to treat my parents to dinner - mom loves Thai food, dad...not so much. He loved his meal! In the "special instructions" for the sesame beef he asked for low sodium and was pleased. I'm not sure if they specifically accomodated his request or if the food is just less salty overall.
