"I’ve had some really good food from Liba in the past, so I was quite disappointed with this order.
I ordered the fried plantain and beans combo through DoorDash, which was listed as coming with chicken, but there was no chicken included. When I called, I was told the combo doesn’t come with chicken, so I’d really recommend updating the DoorDash listing because I would have either added chicken or ordered something else if I’d known.
I also selected garri as an option, but it wasn’t included in the order. I understand it may not be an additional charge, but I specifically selected it, so I was disappointed that it was missing.
The plantain itself was nice, although the portion was quite small. Unfortunately, the beans were extremely oily and I personally didn’t enjoy the flavour.
I’ve enjoyed Liba’s food previously, so I’m hoping this was just an off day, but overall this particular order was really underwhelming."
