I wouldn't spend the amount we spent again to have it delivered because the quality just wasn't good enough. "Ginza has the most melt-in-your-mouth raw fish sushi I've ever had in GR, and they're priced fairly comparably to other GR sushi places that aren't always as fresh or "melt in the mouth." If you've ever had rubbery, chewy, or stringy sashimi/sushi, you might think you don't like sushi. Or if you've had sushi that was a little rubbery, stringy, or chewy, and still liked it...then you're going to be thrown for a loop by how good Ginza sushi is.
Plus, all the veggies in their sushi rolls taste incredibly fresh and perfectly ripe. You're not going to get slightly grey, over-ripe and mushy avocado from them, nor will you get under-ripe, crunchy avocado from them. I've have never had better avocado on sushi, before, than at Ginza (both times!) Their cucumber is also at a new level of fresh, crisp, and tasty. Their sauces are great! They compliment without overpowering.
So even though I had a very absent/aloof lunchtime server my first time eating there--to the point where I saw the bus boy more than my own server--the food was SO GOOD that I Door Dashed it a couple days later for my husband and I. The chicken was perfection, tender and moist. The rice was perfect as well. I chose to add a side of garlic Naan and I'm glad I did because it is out of this world! Super soft and two large pieces make it a great serving size. This is the first time I have had Medu Vada , so I have nothing to compare it to, but it's divine.
