"May be the best tacos on Long Island. The Taco Pork / Carnitas tacos and the carne Taco Steak / Carne Asada tacos are amazing. We haven't tried the other ones, but expect them to be delicious as well. My fiance is from Southern California, and has been dissapointed with all NY taco places, but this one surpassed her expectations, it was all fresh and tasted authentic mexican!

"Ehh, I ordered 3 Tacos Birria y Consomé, the tacos were really greasy, like- lose your appetite kind of greasy, plus the tortillas weren't stuck shut with cheese which was a disappointment. The consomé was decent- I also got the 3 Tacos Asada (Steak), these were fine, had a good amount of steak in them. Steak was a tad overcooked and under seasoned.. despite the tacos being mediocre, Don Taco had speedy delivery service- which would have been top notch if the food was up to par. Sidenote- I'm from Cali so I could just have higher standards when it comes to my birria tacos. If you've never had birria tacos before & you're looking for something quick and mediocre, this will do. But, I've had better. I'll still be on the hunt for the best birria tacos out here. I most likely will not order from here again."

It would be great if the bag were sealed with staples, tape, or some type of tamper-evident seal. "I absolutely love this restaurant and have eaten here many times. I've also ordered takeout directly from them before, and the food has always been excellent. This was my first time ordering through DoorDash, and unfortunately the experience was very different from what I'm used to.
The food arrived packed all together in a single container, with no utensils, no sauces, and none of the extras they normally provide, even with regular takeout orders. The food itself was still delicious, but the packaging and attention to detail were disappointing compared to the great service I've always received in the past.
I'm not sure if this was because the order was placed through DoorDash, but I hope future delivery orders receive the same care and quality that this restaurant is known for. I'll definitely continue to support them because I truly enjoy their food."
