Although they were very small, the hot honey lemon pepper sauce absolutely made up for it, super full of citrus and delectable as can be. As for the fries, well, they were bacon cheese fries. "I can’t even explain how good this place is the kind of spot that makes you excited to tell everyone you know. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh tortillas, melted cheese, and slow cooked meat hits you, and you already know you’re in for something amazing.
I ordered the birria tacos, and wow… easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The meat was juicy and flavorful, the tortillas were perfectly crispy, and that consommé was rich and full of depth. Every bite had that perfect mix of crunch, spice, and comfort. The rice and beans on the side were just as delicious you can tell everything here is made with care.

"i love Mexican food and to say that polibertos is the best Mexican spot in Lubbock in 100% my opinion, when I was broke and had no money to buy food, my wife asked the chef if they could feed us but we didn't have money, they gave us the food for free and enough for us to get full. Free plate or something you pay for, these plates are always full with food and I will always recommend and being all of my family to this delicious Mexican joint.
