I got the Bacon Cheeseburger, as well as the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Both sandwiches were *fairly* warm, but the fries were undercooked, soft and without flavor. The sandwich contents were dry and unfortunately lacked decent flavoring as well. If you’re looking for an extremely average burger, this is a good option for you.
I only live 2 miles away from this place, so usually my food retains its heat on the drive home. I don’t want to rate Sal’s only 1 star, but I think more attention to detail and some tweaking to their overall standards would go far, because these baskets were simply not worth the 30-some-dollars I paid. Solid 4/10."

"OMG! This place is phenomenal! I ordered the Fish Plate & Somali Street Fries & trust me I was skeptical. I thought I was ordering PEPPER which seems to be the flavor of African or fusion inspired dishes or restaurants. The menu pictures can list vanilla ice cream, but it would still be PEPPER! I absolutely hate that, but to my surprise-it was one of the most delicious places I've had in the cities!!! It's a mix of African/Somali with Mediterranean and omg YUMMY! Please don't hesitate! And the portion size was HUGE! Let me emphasize HUGE!!!!! ENORMOUS! One meal could easily feed 2 people! On top of that, they placed my sauces neatly sealed on the side- in a separate bag, along with napkins, fork/spoon, a pita & hummus and a side salad! Oh and a can of ginger ale that was less than $1.50! Most places charge you the price of a 2liter for a sip! Guys HEAR ME- THIS PLACE IS FIRE! Money well spent! The the sauces that came with were great too and they give you a ton of hummus which was fresh and delicious. Will definitely become a regular here. "Watch out, the Banana Lassi has some like of nuts (crushed pecans or walnuts) in it! For me personally, that really ruined it, I wish they would have mentioned it on their menu.
The lamb Rosh* was really really delicious! Super tender with a wonderful flavour. My only complaint is that there was a *lot* of fat on it. It also came with a potato instead of tomatoes, though I actually prefer that. Just another thing to be aware of.
Finally, the garlic Tandoori Afghan Naan was also really good, and an incredible value at $2.99! Don't skip it."
