I started this meal annoyed because DoorDash took an extremely long time to assign a driver and deliver my order. By the time the food arrived, I was convinced it was going to be cold and disappointing.
I was completely wrong.
I ordered the chicken tenders, fries, and banana pudding. The chicken was fried perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. The fries were seasoned and came with ranch, and the comeback sauce was so good I found myself dipping everything in it. Even after the delivery delay, the food held up surprisingly well.
The banana pudding was fresh, cold, and the perfect dessert to finish the meal.
This was my first time ordering from Birdcode, and despite the delivery frustration, the quality of the food completely won me over. I’ll definitely be back to try the chicken sandwich next.

I received what I always ordered as "sashimi", not the sushi I expected. There were four limp pieces of raw fish with globs of white rice, all extremely poorly presented, all tossed and run together. There was one tiny little dab of wasabi, scarcely enough for one piece, much less four. The manager argued vehemently with me, even after I showed her pictures of the items. She said, and I quote "the pictures are just to look pretty". I also asked for spicy dumpling sauce on the dumplings, and I got what tasted kind of like apple cider vinegar.
