It looked like it may have been a regular Sicilian Pie that had already been made earlier that they added cheese and meatballs to one side and reheated. It was dry, bland, and one of the worst pizzas we've ever had. The garlic knots were also hard to chew and small. The fries were just okay, which was fine from a pizzeria, but they looked much better in the product photo. "I read the few reviews on this store, which sounded good and I believed them. Even though the store does not accept my DashPass delivery plan for which I pay a monthly fee, I paid their delivery fee and the customary additional tip feeling that if the food was as good as the reviews said, it would be worth it. I was looking forward to the delicious pizza and pasta.
I was sadly disappointed. The Grandma pizza slice was hard and dry and burnt underneath as though it had been there for days and reheated over and over. The crust was so hard that I had to cut it with a knife. I had to leave half of the slice uneaten because it was so thick and dry that I didn't want to crack a tooth. The other slices were about the same except not as tough. None of them were tasty at all. I have ordered pizza that has not been good which is why I wanted to try this store, but none have been as bad as this.
Every store I order Penne pasta with sauce from is always topped with mozzarella cheese and sufficient sauce for the pasta. This one had scarce marinara sauce - hardly enough to cover the pasta in the pan it came in. It was very dry and not tasty.
Needless to say I will not be ordering from this store again. A truly disappointing experience."
