"When I tell you the food went above my expectations! "
"Chicharron De Pollo / Fried Chicken Chunk was not good day. It wasn't even fried properly, chicken had no color, chicken was very big. Only 4 pieces of un fried chicken. Paid so much for a large and got medium plate. Do better! last year food was delicious. Pastelito De Res / Beef Pastelito was very dry, not the first time. Only the medium plate of rice and beans was good. I paid an extra $6 for a large. Last year I got a large and it was a large. SMH! Chicken in the trash. Waste of money."

"We finally tried this place, and I wish we hadn't waited. The empanadas and the Quipes / Kibbes were amazing. We were not readtfor the full sized Empanadas de Carne / Beef Empanadas to be the size of the bag. It was huge and stuffed full. Do not skimp on the pink sauce!!!The variety of authentic desserts is amazing. We picked a bunch to try and couldve picked many more. The Empanadas / Turnovers was full of what tasted like Bavarian cream. I have already referred a friend. "
"I was referred to this restaurant by my son. I was pleasantly surprised in the flavor and size of the Chicken pastelitos and the Beef pastelitos, for the price. We also tried the Pineapple Cake and it was a very decent size, moist and packaged very well! We will definitely order again!"

"After I placed my order I happened to click on the reviews which made me a little nervous so I felt the need to leave my own after having a positive experience. I was very happy with my burrito (the build your own) it had lots of fresh toppings, the steak was very tender, and overall the burrito was a good size and well assembled. I've included pictures for reference."
"I don't know what's going on but for the past few weeks the quality and consistency has been dropping. They used to be nice big plump tightly wrapped Classic Breakfast Burrito.. now I get about 2/3 the material I used to get. About half the amount of eggs (even when I order extra egg) and a loosely wrapped tortilla like it was thrown together in two seconds."

"the grilled cheese burrito was very good & large cause i added extra everything. the other items i will eat in the coming days ... only thing that was disappointing was that they gave me what looks like a small portion of baja blast freeze when i ordered a large? like they didn't fill up the cup at all. anyways i would order it again i guess"

"Very tasty chorizo breakfast burrito! I do wish they had spread the ingredients more evenly. One half was all potato and cilantro while the other end was all egg and chorizo. I wanted bites where all of those flavors combined in each bite. 🤷🏻♀️ Jamaica was perfect, chips were great, queso was a bit grainy and bland...it needs some spice and to be more creamy."

"Dont get a large unless you dont mind having all rice. They gave 5 pieces of wing parts a hole lot of rice and cabbage for 25dollars. The rice was good the cabbage was bland and oily the chicken was soggy tough and flavorless. I also purchased a slice of red velvet Red Velvet Cake for $5.40 and it was the skinniest, tiniest slither of a piece of cake that they could cut that wouldnt fall apart. The cake doesnt look anything close to the pic. It looks a bit dry,but I havent tasted it yet but it isnt worth $5.40 at all. The red pea soup I ordered the other day was so good. "Really good and a lot of food for the price BUT i will say that they were stingy with the green plantain it only came with three and then the griot had ten pieces but five of those pieces was fat. Overall im pleased though and would get again!"
"My food was amazing as usual! The black rice was delicious, the chicken is seasoned to the bone, the Mac and cheese is amazing hot or cold and the Pikliz is my favorite! My only feedback is to change the packaging as my food melted the top (it's happened every time) and I'm worried about absorbing micro plastics."

"It came with a very good amount me and my girlfriend she one bowl and we was very satisfied with that.THE SEASONING was AMAZING, the jerk chicken was very juicy and flavorful. I will definitely order this again 10/10."
"I ordered the same item with different sauce prior and the quality was very different. This time the wings feel greasy and on the soggier side when last time it was very crispy despite being covered in sauce. Also for garlic parm, I feel like the flavor isn't there."

"They forgot my Double Chocolate Chip Brownie but I reorder and they replaced it and gave me the other one so I appreciate that because their brownies are the best I ever had! Super good. I will say the portions are a bit small for the price and inconsistent. I had like a few pieces of cut up chicken and a lot of avocado chimi churri that I ordered for a side! and last time I chose the Mac and cheese as a base and it was barely any which was sad cause I love mac and cheese. I will most likely order again I support the black owned business. flavor is good so I'm not mad at it."
"I highly recommend this reimagined Lamb Curry dish. The meatballs are juicy, tender and really allow you to savor the curry flavor. The pesto sauce is the chef’s kiss that takes it over the edge. Pairs well with the mac and collards. I imagine its a grand slam with the Rasta pasta 😋 Every dish is always delicious, vibrant and bountiful from Fresh Foods 🥰"

"As expected, really good. They just don't like to give you pepper sauce. I requested a lot, some in side too and this tiny container was half full (sad). It baffles me. Despite that, the shrimp buss up shot with potatoes, squash and cabbage was SO good. The goat was okay, potatoes always amazing and the chicken roti was good just but had very little squash (again, why be stingy with the goods??) "
"Bussin Bussin and bussin. The buss up was perfectly cooked, they followed my customization to a T and seasoned it with love. The best Roti restaurant in boston hands down. "

"I was looking for something different to eat so when I saw P & R I thought this would be a good chance to try Jamaican food for the first time. The jerk chicken was incredible, great flavor and with truly fall off the bone meat! The rice and the steam vegetables, which was cabbage, were really good too. "
"This is the ackee and saltfish breakfast with a side of callaloo. So I guess I'm having breakfast for dinner. The ackee are not mushy. they're nice and firm but soft. The saltfish is tasty but could have been deboned a little bit better. Other than a beef and cheese patty which is also good. unsure whether I would reorder the callaloo it's a bit vinegary. I haven't eaten anything else from this restaurant. It's one of the maybe three in the Doordash lineup that can satisfy my saltfish and ackee craving."

"Always good with flavor always a go too, only issue is the packaging not being fully closed and sometimes a little greasy but not a lot , But the Griyo Lakay is always bussin . Dont eat in a rush because you'll be mad it's gone . Havent really found the same flavor in other restaurants like this one "
"The grio fritay was not good. The marinades had too much baking soda, making the grio too crispy and hard to chew. Everything was packed together in one plate, which made it difficult to eat and looked very bad. Overall, it was not worth the money. "

"food here is consistently delicious, I've ordered food here so many times and never had any issues or complaints. I was nervous to order something different. It was so worth it because this is so delicious"
"For the restaurant to be named "mangu", the Mangú 3 golpes – Mashed Plantains with “3 hits” (eggs, salami & fried cheese) is very below average/average and not much flavor. For $12, you only get 2 pieces of salami. Everything was dripping in oil. The Pastelitos are very small and dont have much fillinh"

"Everything was really good. The Baked Pork Pabellon is amazing, from the rice, the black beans and plantains to the portion size. Shredded Beef Empanada + Shredded Chicken Empanada, also delicious. Good size as well. I would get everything again. I didn't take a picture of the Yucca Croquette, they didn't last long, they were delicious too. Cooked perfectly. So I ate them all without thinking.
