But yesterday I ordered one gyro and one chicken and the pictures below will show you that the food came in two very small Styrofoam containers. "I'm kinda torn. Every bite is incredibly delicious, but the portions you get are small for the price. I was really excited to try the Goat (Mutton) curry , and was okay with it being "bone in", but what that meant was the meat appeared to have been roughly chopped into bite sized pieces with the bone in. This means that some pieces were mostly bone with a little piece of edible meat, many had sharp slivers of bone that you had to pick out with your fingers or discover when you bit down, and when I was eating the leftover sauce with the rice, I found little sharp chunks of bone that were easy to mistake for vegetables or meat until they were in your mouth, I swallowed one accidentally and it was a bad time. The taste, however, is out of this world, fit for a king, goat/mutton might be the best meat ever. If the bones were more intact and easier to pick out, and the portion size was a bit bigger this would easily be one of my top 20 restaurant dishes of all time."

"The Jamaican Oxtail was delicious, packing a punch of flavor and tenderness in a bite. I've had oxtails before but not quite the same depth of flavors. And it was a very fair portion for the price. It made a great first experience ordering from Tam Tam. The Mandazi was interesting- it was my first time trying it. Not sure if it was how it's supposed to be (obviously overlooking the fact that it's a fried food packaged to go), but it wasn't very sweet so it didn't give me "dessert" vibes per se and it was a bit denser than I expected (like a donut hole) it was like a bread-like hush puppy... but nonetheless, still good. I honestly dipped it in the oxtail juice and it was DA BOMB.com. I'm definitely gonna order from here again and try some other things on the menu.
