"Everything about this meal was fantastic. I've been on a falafel kick lately, ordering falafel wherever I can, and this is some of the best falafel I've had - perfectly seasoned and not at all salty. Portions are generous and the rice that comes with the bowl is delicious. The only small complaint I have is if we could ask for the sauces on the side as they cool down the falafels in transit. The hummus and baba ghanoug have really good flavor and are so smooth. Will definitely order again. "

"Better to get it delivered, we waited in a long line, only to be told we were in the wrong line. The issue with the DoorDash area is that where you stand to order was covered by a trash can and the sign was over 5 feet tall and also in the way. There were cardboard boxes on the counter, in the way. We accidentally cut people but at least after us, the workers knew there was a door dash line. The staff was visibly overworked and were short with people but that's because it's understaffed to no fault of their own. We tried some sliced ham as we were leaving the parking lot and it's good! Hopefully they get more help because we were in there before the line went out the door, and by the time we left, the line was long and this was before 9AM."

The massaman curry has so many peanuts and the biggest reason 2. It is quite a bit extra to add meat($4 for beef, more for some others) and literally in an entire container of curry we got 4 tiny bites of beef! This has happened a couple times. "Everything (except one item) on the Shaks Mezza platter was delicious, especially the Greek pickles, which were perfectly sour with a slight kick. The cucumbers were huge, and the veggies were all very fresh. I am so happy I found dolmathes that actually tasted right, and that were the right texture (firm w/ soft, but not mushy, rice filling & grape leaves that are malleable and soft). The platter was huge! I ordered it as a meal to share with my 5-year-old. We definitely didn't finish, so it might be helpful to have a couple of people who want to nibble on things.
All that said, I will say the baba ganoush was disappointing. I am a bit picky about my baba ganoush (I don't like a lot of seeds), so I was super excited that this baba ganoush had virtually no seeds and was a good texture. However, it tasted like it was made in a barn with the help of a goat. I don't know how else to explain it.
Overall, everything was great, so I'll order again, but will omit the baba ganoush."
