Bland food with a very unpleasant smell, not to mention the messy packaging.

"We got the brown stew chicken which is a favorite by us always consistent big portions. The jerk chicken patty was amazing !! Tried the jerk chicken dinner really good flavor just right amount of spice and flavor willbe ordering again ! "
"Ordered brown stew Snapper (One Size) but received escovitch snapper instead. I was a little disappointed at first but after one bite I forgot all about the mix up. Fish was flavorful, tender, fresh and seasoned to perfection. Good sized fish for one, perfectly cooked rice and peas, and steamed veg still had a bit of crunch to it, not overcooked. Chicken soup was amazing and came steaming hot. Malta was cold and refreshing. I'll definitely be ordering again."

"Large Oxtail dinner and small order of only Jerk chicken were both really delicious. They followed all special instructions/requests accurately down to the last detail. The portion size to price ratios were decent and appropriate as it relates to the meat. For example, they didn't overfill the oxtail dinner container with the rice & peas and cabbage to take up more room resulting in less meat being added. The meat portion was what I would expect (but not always so), surprisingly adequate and what it should be. I wish I had gotten my order of Tamarind balls but everything else was on point."
"The Small Curry Chicken was large enough for a full meal with ample chicken consistently delicious, as were the Chicken Soup and Beef patty."

"The oxtail is nice and tender however I do understand the price went up but to pay the medium price and get 5 oxtail was very surprising but it was still good and fresh...
The jerk chicken didn't stand a chance it was extremely tasty as well as the cabbage....
will we order from here again....Duhhhhhhhh of course we will "
"The Chicken Rasta Pasta and Plain Rasta Pasta were great but the sides are very small and over priced. They charged $7.80 for the sautéed spinach and only gave one spoonful (the size of a cooking spoon). When I called they confirmed that one spoonful is the amount that they give. It's not even a big enough portion for one person. The Steamed Cabbage with Carrots has about two spoonfuls and they charge $6.60."

"The jerk chicken was good. I chose mild and it was the right amount of spice. The cabbage does have peas, carrots and green beans even though it didn't specify that. "
"I love that I took a chance on this restaurant. It's a little further away but the taste, portion size and quality of the food is worth it! This is my second order and it did not disappoint. "The best Jamaican spot I've been to and they only charge 10$ for a large Rasta pasta unlike every other place I've even to which is around 20. Lunchtime menu has meals from 6-8$ and the portion sizes for EVERYTHING is large and the quality is amazing. 10/10"
"Disappointed it's more bones than anything.. it's also VERY sweet.. I absolutely love brown stew chicken & it definitely has potential but the flavor is lacking. Also the rice & peas is VERY bland , plantains are very hard & there's only 2 small pieces. It looks like it's more cabbage than anything. Disappointing that this is a large. The best brown stew chicken I've ever had is from Awesome Sauce in Bpt. Won't order again"

"The food is very good overall for take out. The chicken although very flavorful is a bit too dry. Other than that it's good. Also important to say that the potato salad comes with apples; not everyone likes that so it would be helpful to have it in the description. Coxinha and pastel are great! Rice and beans delicious."
"The box is cheap and the food gets all messy inside of it. Also, the portion is completely unbalanced: a ton of rice and a little bit of beans. Every single Brazilian knows the ratio of beans and rice is 50/50. I wonder if the owners of this restaurant are really Brazilians."

"First time ordering from this location. I was extremely impressed by first the customer service.Thank you for calling to let me know what was out and other great sides. The 4 Pieces Whiting Meal 2 Sides and Baked Chicken was the best I have had in awhile brings you back to real homecooking! Everything was delicious and highly recommended for others to experience. Excellent dasher as well, no complaints! "
"The 8 Pieces Shrimp Meal 2 Sides had big beautiful fried shrimps, tasted delicious, but were a bit soggy rather than crispy - expected with delivery so I don't blame them for that (although if they puncture small holes in their container tops, it would lessen the soggy factor). The yams were also so good, great texture slightly firm but soft, not mush or overly sweet goo like most - would def get shrimp and yams again! The Mac and cheese I did not like, something about it tasted off. The Banana pudding was also disappointing especially considering the price. The flavor wasn't bad, but the texture is so thick and sticky, almost like a taffy. I just couldn't eat it, waste of $10. But like I said the shrimp and yams were amazing, I just wouldn't get the Mac or banana pudding ever again personally"

"Great flavor, and the portion is perfect and all my gravy was in my container lol i will be ordering again."
"Had high expectations. Where do I start? Let's start with the Brown Stew Chicken it wasn't a traditional Jamaican brown stew chicken it actually to me tasted like barbecue chicken but I don't know if they put barbecue sauce in this in the sauce or whatever I asked for extra gravy, they complied and I definitely got extra gravy, but it was. It felt like it tasted like barbecue sauce next the beef Jamaican Patties- Mild Beef which were dry and hard in the outside, but the filling tasted good and it was you know nice no problems with the cocoa bread but then again it's cocoa bread so it's not gonna be no problems with the cocoa bread . Overall, I would give this place another try and maybe try some curry or maybe the jerk chicken or something."
