"The Homemade Chili was the best restaurant chili I've ever had, hands down. It actually does taste homemade! Lots of beans and wonderfully seasoned meat with just the right amount of tomato. Caution: Might be too spicy for some palates, but as a spicy food lover, I find it has the perfect level of heat.
The Bananas Foster Cake was equally delicious. Comes with yummy caramel on the side to drizzle over it. The cake has a delicious banana flavor and it is nice & light and very moist.
Husband had Fish N' Chips and he really enjoyed the flounder. (Flounder is one of his preferred fried fish choices, so he appreciates that's the fish they serve in this meal, and not whitefish like many others.) He also thought the Cole slaw was good, even though the appearance threw him at first. They mince the cabbage *very* finely, and neither of us had ever seen slaw that looks like that. He had to take a bite to identify what it was. But, as they say, don't judge a book by its cover because the taste was fine. Unfortunately, the fries didn't travel well so they weren't the best. I don't hold that against the restaurant though, because we live 11 miles away and rhat's a long trip for french fries. Someone closer would most definitely have a better outcome with the fries. "

"El Asador has been in this area for quite awhile and for good reason. Of all the Hispanic restaurants in this area (Fredericksburg) this is by far the most authentic. I ordered the Pupusa de Chicharron a Side de Frijoles \ Beans and side of Spanish rice and all of it was spot on delicious. I take food seriously as a professional chef, that is my life and my passion...... if you're hungry for something with authentic Latin flavor, head to El Asador, it will not disappoint!"
"Not alot of yall are talking about them !!!!!! I ate that Taco De Birria Platota so fast! It's so good. The rice is cooked to perfection. The Pupusa Frijol Y Queso are hot and crispy. 1000/10. Take the time to treat yourself! I pretty picky when it comes to my Taco De Birria Plato but the consommé is my favortie thing to eat/drink. The best one I had was in New Jersey. "Unfortunately a lot of the meat in my bowl entree was dry and hard, naking it feel like I was pulling small sticks out of my mouth. The taste was really good, but the meat texture was horrible. The only other piece of meat was one large lump with a llong piece of gristle running through it .
Initially I thought they forgit my green salsa but I eventually ran into it, over in one of the corners underneath my food. They were very generous with the sour cream and the cheese on top, where I wish they had alao put my salsa. The chicken in my quesadilla was grilled so I really did not enjoy it. The sauce I ordered to go with the quesadilla was only 1/4 full.
Full disclosure: In the picture of my quesadilla I had already started eating it. "
"I ordered a Burrito Bowl with lots of veggies, when it arrived there were practically no veggies and in it at all and missing items. just a small bowl of kinda stale sofritas and a little rice. The other bowl was a chicken burrito bowl that had little to no chicken at all. Almost $14 each, that for two half empty burrito bowls isn't worth it.
