"The tacos are okay, but not particularly memorable. They're very heavy on the diced onion and cilantro, and the amount of onion overwhelms the other flavors. Overall, the food seems to be seasoned very mildly and could use more flavor.
The desserts are the biggest disappointment. I've now tried both the flan and the churro cheesecake, and they appear to be essentially the same dessert with different toppings or seasonings. Unfortunately, neither tasted like traditional flan or cheesecake. Both had an unusual texture and were fairly bland. And for $10, who wants disappointing flan?
Still, for Susanville, this is about as good as it gets.
