"Worth it for the $12 meal deals. Yo so much food for a great price. It tasted amazing. Packaged perfectly and with care. Drinks came semi frozen which was perfect, as I write this the drink is still freezing cold. Good came hot too. Definitely will be ordering again. The Summer Bounce drink is perfection."
"I was disappointed that the chicken in the $12 Curry Chicken Lunch Special was slightly undercooked and there could have been a bit more rice. Otherwise flavor and portion size were good. The summer bounce drink had an interesting flavor but it wasn't my favorite. Would probably order again for the value. Overall I was satisfied."

"I've had better to call this jerk chicken pasta with no spice to it should be illegal the flavor was very bland and the sauce tasted as if it was watered down heavy whipping cream. The portion amount was okay and no I would never order this again"
"The regular chicken pasta is disgusting. The chicken breast was extremely dry, lack of seasoning & flavor. I don't recommend eating from this establishment or ordering from here. I would rather eat pasta from 4AM. First time experience and it will be my last time. Waste of $50."

"I ordered takeout from here and was seriously impressed. The snapper was absolutely exquisite, perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor even after the drive home. It’s not easy for seafood to travel well, but this held up beautifully.Everything was packaged carefully, still fresh and delicious when I opened it. "This is one of my favorite spots to eat. I can't get enough of their large turkey tasso with a SIDE OF FRIED PLANTAINS. Everything is good don't get me wrong but I order this the most. Food always fresh and tasty. 10/10 recommend 👌"
"Absolutely AMAZING!! 🤩 I ordered the oxtail pasta and also did a combo with pasta, rice, and chicken wings, and EVERYTHING was unbelievably delicious! The flavors, the portions, the presentation… honestly, they did not miss on anything. The oxtail was tender and full of flavor, the wings were delicious, and even the rice and pasta were perfect.

"Not too bad! The jerk chicken (dark meat) had a nice smoky flavor and, most importantly, wasn’t dry. It was refreshing to have jerk Jerk Chicken (Dark Meat) that was actually moist and flavorful. The rice was also really good, not like some other Jamaican restaurants where the rice and peas can be dry. This rice was moist, well-seasoned, and had plenty of flavor. The only problem is I ordered a patty and they were out of Beef Patty and I didn't know until I got my order that they were out. Definitely will try this place again though."

"The Seafood Chupe was not all it's made out to be. The color seems very bright and the seafood is chopped which makes me think it's imitation fish. The calamari was very chewy and the fish pieces were not fresh. Im sorry to complain like this, but it could be better. The #2 Family Meals 1/2 Chicken, 1/2Lb Steak, 1/2Lb Pork, 1 Chorizo, 1 Boneless Breast, 2 Lg Rice 1 Lg Beans & French Fries with 4 Drinks was great except the steak and sausage was a serving of one. "We ordered the Big Back Noodle Boil and the Xtreme Noodle Boil with crab meat, and both were absolutely incredible! The seafood was fresh, perfectly cooked, and loaded with flavor. That garlic butter seasoning was so good we didn’t want to leave a single noodle behind.
The portions were HUGE, so you definitely get your money’s worth. My whole family loved every bite, and there wasn’t one complaint at the table.
We’re from Virginia, and I’m just going to say it… VA ain’t got nothing on Just Sousey! We’ll definitely be making the trip back because this food is worth it. If you’re thinking about ordering, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed!"
"The flavor was good it had a good balance between crunch and filling although it was a little bit oily being that the roll itself is deep fried, it arrived still fresh so that was a plus, it came buy one get one but after it arrived i see why, the portions are snack sized depending on how much you eat. For me it was enough to keep me satisfied, for a grown man this would be an appetizer so if you're thinking this would be a meal i advise picking something else. The prices are a bit high for what you but this particular dish was bogo so it makes up for it a little. They also came with 2 different sauces so i'm not sure which is made for the rolls , one lighter peach colored sauce and another deep orange sauce, i preferred the lighter sauce with this dish as the orange one was too mustard forward for my liking and took away from the rolls, overall it was a 7/10 i'd buy from here again but next time i might try something different i also loved that i have a shellfish allergy but i had no issues with cross contamination or feeling sick :)"

"The Fried Chicken was burnt, I always ordered white meat and very few times I get a piece of breast. It's always two wings and a piece of back of the breast or some scraps. The rice is hard at times and most times have no color because they don't use enough peas.

"The Curry Shrimp Meal and Boneless Curry Chicken Meal were top notch. I really loved the roast pepper sauce. That took the meal to the next level. I can appreciate the frustrations of others regarding the smaller portion size. I think that Tabanka's food is amazing. Would I have loved more? Sure. I also recognize that the restaurant has to be aware of their portion sizes as not to hurt their profit margins. I felt our portion size was appropriate for the price paid. Anna and team, keep up the amazing work!"

"This meal was amazing. The chicken was well seasoned fried to perfection. The rice was perfectly balanced in between soft and firm and the taste was just right. The macaroni was a nice little creamy touch i tasted the seasoning and it was not dry at all. The plantains were friend just right for me I don't like plantains fried to hard and they hit it perfect. Love the meal well worth the cost."
"The best Griot I've eaten. The griot is NOT greasy with bitter taste like many I'veconsumed in the past. The griot is fresh and seasoned to perfection at every purchase as I consume the meal."

"best griot i had in a while and bouyon on point. big portions and so much flavor. pikliz not too spicy banan flat and crispy. 10/10"
"My only criticism is in the size of the Macaroni Ogratine for $6 it should be a bigger portion. It used to be a decent size and they changed it to fit these tiny togo boxes smaller than my hand. I was disappointed."

"Delicious, closest to my mummy's tassot dine that I've been able to find in South FL in over a decade. Pikliz needed more cabbage and carrots in my opinion but that's my preference (I prefer a crunchier pikliz) but the flavor and spice level were very good. Banan peze on point. Diri djon djon very tasty. Diri kole was SO good. 10/10
Also laughing at the other review that stated she "didn't like it" but also thumbs upped all three of the dishes she ordered... "DoorDash Emerging Expert" is an interesting qualifier for congnitive dissonance. Maybe she was seeking a refund but couldn't lie on them flavors? But that’s none of my business though."

"Family Meal Two is a pretty good deal. We ordered and have enough to eat tomorrow. The chicken was the best in my opinion along with the garlic potatoes. Rice & Beans were ok, not my favorite as the beans were a bit soupy and not enough Beans if that makes sense. But I'd order again."
"Meal 3 was ddelicious, so good I didnt even notice the sauces until day 2. all 3 were fire. got the potatoes and roasted plantains- fire. Reg Mixed Vegetables were perfectly steamed and not at all mushy. I feel healthier for having eaten this. my life is improved. mid."

"love love loveeee this restaurant. always just the right amount to fill you up. the griot is seasoned to perfection & its always fresh. i would definitely put this restaurant in my top 3 picks."
"I ordered "Normal" fried pork, however, I received fried pork in stew. Also, I was really looking forward to some good pikliz but it was sweet. Sweet pikliz!!! And I thought the rice was gonna be a side portion but it's like I ordered a plate of rice and a side of fried pork instead of the other way around. Sigh! I'm truly disappointed. I've been in the mood for some good Haitian fried pork and this truly disappoints me"

"This was my second time ordering from this place, and it did not disappoint at all! This has got to be one of the best Griot (Fried Pork) that I have had in the whole South Florida area. The meat was tender, fresh, seasoned with an amazing gravy; the Plantains (3 Bannan Peze) and Marinade were hot, fresh and well seasoned. 10/10 quality and service!"
"The Tassot Turkey (Fried Turkey)itself was tasty. The black rice was kind of bland. The Boulette (Meatballs) was really tiny for the price and were not tasting good. Not the quality of Boulette (Meatballs) that I would usually get from other Haitian restaurants. The plaintains did not taste like it was cooked in fresh oil. Usually it's better here, maybe it was the I ordere but I was disappointed."
