"Very expensive for what you actually get so please be advised that for the time being this is really if you want it really badly. Beef Kabob is basically three smallish pieces of beef, not a lot of rice. Tasty? Yes! But the portions are atrocious. Lamb Shank is hit or miss. Sometimes big, and sometimes small. Taste is fantastic, but portion wise not really that consistent. Shrimp Salad tastes really good and a moderate amount of shrimp, may not be enough for some. Tiramisu tastes ok not very sweet if you are not into sweet desserts this is for you. Garlic Dip is delicious and has a strong garlic flavor. I wish I had lots more meat to eat it with! 😮💨😔They are very gracious with the pita bread if you like it they will provide to you a lot. Otherwise the actual food items so little yet so expensive. Not worth it unless you need Mediterranean food rally badly and maybe do pick up to save yourself 10 or so dollars or more."

"It is our first time to eat here. The food arrived hot. The Boudin Balls were crispy and tasty. The Turkey Leg was delicious. The turkey was so tender and juicy, the crawfish ettouffee was a great topping over the dirty rice. It is huge! Enough to feed 2-3 people. The Chicken and Sausage Gumbo had a great flavor. I ordered the huevos Rancheros Eggs Plate and it does not have an option on door dash to specify the way you would like the eggs cooked but having this dish as many places the eggs are always over easy or sunny side up. These eggs were fried hard with just a splash of ranchero. Salsa is good and the lemonade is delicious but the eggs went in the trash so I paid $16 for beans, potatoes, tortillas and a drink. "I hadn’t eaten at Taqueria Flores in years, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, I should have trusted my gut and saved my $40.
I ordered the tostadas, the crunchy taco special, and queso. I only wanted bean tostadas, but the order required me to select a protein, so I chose chicken. I even picked the food up myself, thinking that would ensure the tostadas and tacos were fresh and crunchy. I live only about four minutes away, but by the time I got home, everything was already soggy.
The tostadas had very little flavor and seemed to have more tomatoes and cheese than lettuce. The “crunchy” tacos were just as disappointing—they were soggy rather than crisp and lacked flavor as well.
The queso was another disappointment. It tasted sour and was surprisingly bland, with very little of the rich, cheesy flavor you expect from good queso. Between the soggy food and the sour-tasting queso, there really wasn’t anything about the meal that I enjoyed.
Both the tacos and tostadas were part of a buy-one-get-one-free special, but unfortunately, getting twice as much disappointing food didn’t make it a better deal.
Next time, I’ll stick with the food truck near Exxon. Their tacos and tostadas are made to order, fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. I really wanted to enjoy Taqueria Flores again, but this experience was a disappointment and definitely not worth the $40 I spent."
