I opened the bag fully prepared for the usual game of “What got crushed this time?” Instead, everything was wrapped perfectly, looked like the menu photos for once, and was actually made with care. It was so well put together I briefly wondered if my order got mixed up with someone else’s.
Whoever was working today deserves a raise—or at the very least should be teaching the rest of the Taco Bell universe how to fold a burrito without committing a crime against tortillas.
The food was hot, fresh, loaded with the right ingredients, and somehow survived DoorDash without turning into a bag of edible confetti. That’s rarer than it should be.
