"the Vegan Pho is unbelievably flavorful. it came with the broth piping hot, the perfect amount of veggies and rice noodles, and a flgenerous portion of sprouts, jalapeños, and herbs.. so fresh and full of flavors. the Crab Meat Rangoon (5 Pieces) was still warm and crispy. super tasty- my favorite place for the rangoons. i will be ordering again, probably soon!"
"I've ordered a number of times before, but this time it was awful. The spring rolls were raw, flavorless, and cold. The kimchi was more of a soup with a generous TWO pieces of tofu. The egg drop soup was horrible and tasted more like gravy. Will not be ordering again."

"This place will wow you! The flavor, portions and price were all perfect. The General Tsao's Chicken is not as sweet and syrupy as you get at other places. It's also fried hard. Both of those were pluses for me. Most people can probably tolerate a 3 spice level. I prefer the 4. Every element of the Combination Fried Rice was well prepared. The beef was not that gray chewy stuff you get other places. It was beautifully seared and flavorful. The shrimp were larger than average and not overcooked. They were well seasoned too. Do yourself a favor and try this place."
"Best Chinese food in the metro! Was devastated when Shang Yuen switched ownership but so happy the family recipes live on through Heavenly! The beef is so tender! The chicken so crispy! The rice so fluffy! Deep, well balanced flavors. Everything we've had has been so delicious and we have high standards for Asian food being an Asian household.

"Fun Chinese is amazing! My first time trying it. Sesame Chicken was delicious! Huge portions, nice amount of veggies. The Pan-Fried Dumplings were perfect, browned on all sides, served with the perfect sauce. The Crab Rangoon appeared to be hand made and fried to perfection. The oresent of the whole delivery in a cute reus bag and well packaged silverware was the icing on the cake! Definitely a new favorite!"
"This is my new favorite place to eat. I got the Crispy Tenderloin with sweet and sour and my girlfriend got the Braised Beef with spicy garlic. I'm not joking when I say that this was one of the best Chinese places I've ever gotten food at. They send your food in a thermo regulated bag that you can then use for whatever which is awesome. Even the plastic silverware is fancy lol. They packed it with meat, and all for a reasonable price. I would 💯 come back here anytime."

"Food quality? Mediocre. Ordered two bowl combos, one sesame, one orange. When we went to grab our food, we realized that both bowls were the exact same, and we couldn't tell what the sauce tasted like. Zero sesame seeds, and not a hint of any orange flavoring.
As for the portion sizes, if you're going to charge out the wazoo for your food, at least give people enough food to make sure they're full.

"Peanut noodles medium spice. Sauce on top of noodles that was not enough to coat all the noodles when mixed. I selected
Tofu for the protein and there were 5 pieces. Only a few veggies. So, essentially it was a bland bowl of plain noodles with a little heat (spice) to it. Overly priced for what was received. I rarely give poor reviews. I'm giving it 3 starts because it was hot and freshly made and restaurants cannot always be perfect . Pho 85 never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The broth is rich and authentic, and you can tell everything is made with care. The portions are generous, and every dish I've tried has been delicious. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent service, making every visit enjoyable!"

"Snow Crab Salad was small but flavorful. Crabstick Tempura (5 Pcs) they were half sticks. Cucumber Roll menu says crab meat but I didn't see or taste any. sushi was the size of a nickel. prices equal size of food. all was good"
"Steak was overcooked but still very tender and flavorful. Good Crab Rangoon if you like them on the sweeter side like I do. The miso soup didn't taste like miso. Not bad, just different. Iowa Roll was good quality for how little it cost. (D) Steak Bento was plenty of food. So happy there's a Japanese restaurant on the south side. I'll be ordering from here again!"

"This is my favorite Pho place in the city! Ive tried all of the Pho places that ive heard of in the Des Moines Area. Tonight I ordered a new dish to try the Beef in a Leaf/ Rice. It was very tasty, I was said I wasnt getting Pho but the restaurant included a small soup size of pho broth with my order so that made up for it! A must try!"
"The portions at Pho Viet are legit. You definitely won’t leave hungry. The pho bowls are packed, and there’s a good balance of noodles, meat, and broth. Honestly feels like you’re getting your money’s worth every time. Perfect if you’re super hungry—or want some leftovers for later."

"so fresh! the Bánh Xèo is very crispy and flavorful and comes with lots of veggies. the Green Thai Tea is also super flavorful and ice cold."
"***NEW*** Coconut Matcha Cloud , underwheming, weird consistency, bland.
Vermicelli Bowl / Bún Thịt Nướng , weird flavor that I've never had with any other vermicelli bowl elsewhere. produce tasted like it hadn't been washed. chicken was a puck it was so dry you couldn't chew it.
Pad Thai , again weird flavor I have never had when eating pad thai. chicken wasn't as dry as the vermicelli bowl, but had absolutely no flavor and was horribly tough.
***NEW*** Raspberry Hibiscus Lemonade , literally the only thing from this order I somewhat liked. decent flavor, nothing that I would go back for.
Thought I would give this a try as opposed to Pho Real which is my normal go to Downtown. I hate to say it, but this is by far the worst Vietnamese food I have had. Spent 80$ for it all to go straight in the trash."

"The best crab Rangoon but needs to come with more sweet and sour sauce. The sesame chicken entree - I appreciate the smaller, crispier chunks of chicken the most but would like more sauces Everything is always fresh even when ordering for delivery."
"Don't normally leave reviews, but here we go. We paid $90 for the worst sushi experience of our lives. Crab Rangoons were the best part minus their temp. Not sure what the pink mystery wrapping was around the Cupid Roll? There were lemon slices, including the peel, hidden under the sauce on the Chef Special Roll. Lemon is all we could taste. The portion size of the Mad Max and French Kiss rolls were small, and similar to the size of $8 regular roll. We would have been better off picking out sushi from Gateway Market or Hy-Vee. This may explain why the restaurant was empty at 7:20pm on a Saturday night. We won't be back."

"The Spicy Thai Basil lives up to the name. I order it with Chicken as my protein, and it comes with a side of rice.
It's delicious, actually spicy, and always hot when it arrives.
I love this place! The orange chicken is good too.
You can tell the food is made with passion and care. Thank you JJ Jasmine Thai! "
"Can I just say - WOW! This family-owned restaurant makes sure their customers leave well fed. The Angry stir-fry chicken I got was AMAZING! They made it extra spicy, as requested and they did not hesistate to load it up with plenty of chicken! Their potstickers were just as incredible, filled with lots of pork and veggies and their house sauce was so good I could almost drink it. I look forward to ordering again and encourage EVERYONE to support this wonderful small business. "

"I got the Mixed Plate Classic. The meats were so tender and packed full of flavor. The portions were big and I only got the reg size plate. The rice was nice and fresh, not hard like you get from some places. The macaroni salad was delicious and I am picky about my macaroni salad. I also got the Mini Pineapple Strawberry Twist Dole Soft Serve®and it was so good and refreshing. I could live off this food. LOL Definitely ordering again."
"Tried the Pineapple Luau Slider Single for the first time... I nearly cried. The meat was literally perfect, it wasn't over-filled, and not stacked high with filler. And the flavor! Oh my days the flavor! It has the tiniest of bites but then has a sweet taste too, so you get almost a candied-like flavoring with extremely mild heat. I think this is going to be my new go-to."
