Whenever I'm in the vicinity of any of the Breka outlets, I always check to see if I have time for a coffee and dessert or coffee and a sandwich. Breka provides good, satisfying bakery - deli fare at a reasonable price. A favorite place for lunch or a delightful snack. Now, you may think I've gone overboard in my praise. But I haven't. "I ordered most of the sweet pastries and they were all good. I remember eating these Canto bakeries as a kid, and I haven't had a chance to have them for awhile until now. As a Canto person myself I can say these are all authentic, taste great, and have good texture. I especially liked these: Coconut Tart (1 Piece) / 椰挞, Deep Fried Sesame Ball (1 Piece) / 煎堆, Chinese Vegetarian Pastry (1 Piece) / 老婆饼, and Butter Cookies (1 Pack) / 鸡蛋仔曲奇. The prices are all very affordable too.
