The main issue with this place is the portions for the price. The Broke Bad Beef Burger is an average good tasting burger but its $20 for such a small portion. The fried chicken is also $11 for one piece + its mostly breading and barely any meat.
Theres not a lot of bbq in Van so i still appreciate this place.
tl;dr just get the ribs, riblettes and mac and cheese. be aware of small portions for a bigger price"

Lastly I ordered the Caesar Salad which was quite small but loaded with fresh crunchy romain, lots of real parmasean curls, it came with a wedge of lemon and a wonderful home made croutons and homemade caesar dressing on the side. Mamy restaurants forget that lemon wedge! The only downfall was they packed the salad with the hot food and my salad was not only warm it was actually hot.
I highly recommend their food, and will order again when craving mac and cheese. I may have felt the salad and bread sides were small but they certainly filled me up and the mac and cheese is two meals for me!

"First 2 times I ordered their out of this world delicious Mac and cheese I was blown away, tastes like heaven... but (I know this is probably mostly door dash inflation but still) the price seemed a bit crazy.
Then when I got it the to go container was packed and I was like "alright! This place knows what's up and will feed me enough delicious food to be worth the 20 bucks for a meal..."
That's why I was sad that the last 3 times in a row that I ordered it the to go container was at best half way full and all 3 times I was hungry when I finished eating... which is fine for my 1.50 Mac and cheese at home but for 30 bucks factoring in tip and delivery/doordash markups I should not be walking away from a 30 dollar meal hungry... just saying.
If the portion size had stayed consistent, 5+ stars... it's freaking great food.... I just wanted more for that much money... sadly won't order here again cause I won't pay that much and still be hungry."
