I have tried multiple Mexican restaurants in that area and nearby. El Mesquite takes the premise mayor. The cheese dip...YES! The Parilla Burrito...HUGE portion. The food is extremely hot and fresh whether you eat in or grab to go. It's also been fresh for me when delivered at my doorstep. There is no other place in Spring Lake where I have found myself a consistent repeat customer. Beyond how amazing the food is, the fact that Luis, the owner, is often answering the phone when I place a to go order or at the register when I come in to pick it up, says a lot about the culture he's created and, in my opinion, one of several reasons the food is so delicious.
