"Order General Tso’s Chicken and Crispy Sesame Chicken, which were okay in taste but lacked flavor and were very mushy in texture. The tempura shrimp was overpriced for only two pieces, costing just over 11 dollars, and was neither fresh nor appealing. I am highly disappointed. The chicken fingers tasted of old oil and batter, and the vegetables served alongside the tempura shrimp were also greasy and stale. The Crab Rangoon contained no seafood or meat filling and was neither sweet nor salty, lacking any real flavor. Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied after spending over 100 dollars on food that seemed reheated, leftover, and poorly prepared. I will never spend another cent at this restaurant. If I could feature this place on a food show to expose its flaws, I would. The terrible taste of the food makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. Save your money and order from elsewhere. As a first-time customer, this was my last visit to this restaurant. "

We ordered last week, on Wednesday, the food was hot, delicious and flavorful.
Few days later we had company over, they wanted Chinese food, we were disappointed. The rice was white, smooshy and did not taste anything like the rice we had two evenings prior.
Two days after this I was craving some pork fried rice. I decided to give them one more chance. When I placed my order I explained my experience and this time I was more than IMPRESSED!!! Everything was cooked to perfection! Very tasty, hot, plenty of food to share. The rice had that yummy wok taste to it which is how rice is supposed to taste! Chicken wings lightly air fried and not greasy. French fries I asked for crinkle - THEY DELIVERED! Egg Rolls are out of this world.

The 12. Beef Teriyaki (2), Boneless Spareribs, Chicken Finger (3), Pork Fried Rice was 10/10. Their spareribs are so flavorful and the Pork Fried Rice was amazing. I don't usually eat pork fried rice, but I could eat the pork fried rice here every day!!
The Sweet and Sour Chicken is chicken fingers, with sweet and sour sauce on the side. Can't go wrong with it really - sauce was so tasty.
The price of golden peacock is a bit more money than some other places, but it is worth it if you're looking to never be disappointed!!"

"we used to love this restaurant, the food used to be super yummy, the portions were really big & the prices were much cheaper than most of the other local Chinese food restaurants. But the last few times we've ordered from here the food has gotten worse & worse, the portions have gotten smaller & smaller and we've tried to give them so many chances hoping that maybe it was just a bad day or something but after tonight's order I think we're done with Golden china😓 everything we received was so overcooked/over fried that we could barely bite into anything,it was the smallest amount of food we've ever received in a pupu platter for 2 & we couldn't tell what was chicken fingers & what was fried shrimp so my fiance ended up accidentally eating some of the fried shrimp before realizing that it wasn't just weird tasting chicken🤦🏼♀️ it makes me sad, I really don't like giving up on restaurants that had been a favorite for so many years but sadly I don't think we'll be ordering again😪"
