"i love the duck it's delicious. nice crispness to the skin which is my favorite. i try to like the broth itself but it's not my cup of tea.it reminds me of chai tea. i just personally don't think cinnamon and anise broth pair well with a savory soup but others may feel different. i prefer a garlicky savory broth but if you flavor chai or like cinnamony sweetish broth, this would be great for you. i love how they include lime and i love the bean sprouts and scallions. the bean sprouts were actually perfect. i'll eat them from others spots and they'll be sort of soggy and turning brown. these ones were quite literally perfect and fresh and crispy with no hint of discolouration. they also listened to my customisation and have an option in notes to even include them which i appreciate very much. the vegetable are fresh and delicious. i love the hoisin sauce i wish it came with more. overall good price great freshness."

"The teriyakis were ok, according to the family members who ordered them. However, the individual sushi items were not at all as described. They were limp and lukewarm. I received what I always ordered as "sashimi", not the sushi I expected. There were four limp pieces of raw fish with globs of white rice, all extremely poorly presented, all tossed and run together. There was one tiny little dab of wasabi, scarcely enough for one piece, much less four. The manager argued vehemently with me, even after I showed her pictures of the items. She said, and I quote "the pictures are just to look pretty". I also asked for spicy dumpling sauce on the dumplings, and I got what tasted kind of like apple cider vinegar. She told me she could do nothing for me but that I should call DoorDash. "

"Just not worth the money. $4.25 for one Eggroll is crazy, I thought when ordering I was getting 2 at that price. $5.25 for a small tin of lettuce for the House Salad, which is only like 4 Romain heart leafs chopped up. The Vegetable Fried Rice was an okay price at $12.50 but there should be vegetables in it other then the normal (peas, carrots, onions, corn) I did find a couple sliced mushrooms and sliced snap peas but that was it. Lastly the Boneless Spare Ribs not only did they not follow the note of cooking them well done, but to get a small tin thats not even all the way full at $12.95 was just so disapointing. Now, the food wasnt bad, just not great to be at those prices. First and last time I'll order here. "

"Sonnys takes pride in the food they create. We have never ever experienced a bad meal here and are very fussy consumers. They are also very creative in their menu items. Edamame spring rolls buffalo chicken sprig rolls are really different and fantastic. Fried rice is more flavorful than other places and seasoned perfectly. I somehow stumbled on this place while looking for "grinders"......but have not tried theirs yet as i got sidetracked with other menu items.

"Honestly, I’m pretty disappointed with how far the quality of this place has fallen.
The last two times I’ve ordered for pickup, I’ve received what can only be described as an embarrassing amount of chicken. I’m not exaggerating when I say there were literally two slices of chicken in my meal. Two. For the prices being charged, that’s unacceptable.
The avocado has also been consistently bad. It doesn’t taste fresh at all. It has a rubbery texture, like it’s been sitting around far too long before being served. The freshness and overall food quality have declined tremendously compared to what this place used to be.
On top of that, the service has become increasingly frustrating. During one visit, I stood waiting for about eight minutes for my pickup order while staff completely ignored me. It wasn’t even close to rush hour. Eventually, a bartender had to come over and help me get my food. That should never happen.
Maybe it’s just my experience, but I’ve also felt like I’m treated differently than other customers. The staff often come across as rude and dismissive, which only makes the disappointing food even harder to overlook.
This used to be a place that treated people with respect and consistently served great food. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. The decline in both quality and service has been impossible to ignore. It’s disappointing to see what was once a favorite spot fall this far.
All good things must come to an end, I guess."
