Arooga's Spuds: Tater Tots were average. Tots were crispy, bacon smokey, cheese cheesy. I will probably go back to ordering the plain Tots, but I'm glad I tried it."

We just ate at the restaurant a few weeks ago and the crab clusters were astronomically better then. I was okay spending the money for what we ate then. Maybe the packing caused them to overcook, but I was scraping the shell to get the meat out of most of them. None of it easily slid out. The size of the clusters was smaller too. I noticed that immediately. The shrimp scampi was still delicious. A little shocking to see the itty bitty container your portion can fit into though, even though it's the same portion in the restaurant. I think I'm gonna pass on dashing from here in the future. It was disappointing"

I order the Crab Balls all the time. Their recent addition with the Blackened Shrimp Caesar Wrap is soooo good and has such a fresh flavor, I did not expect to like it that much. The Saltwater Nachos are also very flavorful and I order often. They don't skimp on the seafood either. Honestly, I've enjoyed pretty much everything I've gotten here. You can't go wrong. The only issue is they're only open 3 days a week and during lunch hours. I hope they are able to expand in the future, that would be awesome 😊"

"FOOD was great- chicken 3 whole Wings with Fries ; wings have a very pleasant crispiness to them! Not a lot of meat on them. They are skinny, check the pictures! Bourbon sauce was great. Fries were gross. Zero seasoning. I added salt and pepper. Honestly inedible. I dipped them in the bourbon sauce to finish them. Rice and beans were great! Barbecue baked chicken was fantastic. Incredibly well cooked! You could not handle this chicken without it falling apart! The sauce is mild, it's not hot or VERY flavorful. But, this is the safe approach and i wont judge them for it. Sweet Plantains as a side are expensive. $5 for six pieces(pictured). However, they were sweet/ripe and well cooked!
SERVICE was extremely slow and lacked any attention to detail- I was called by the driver to inquire on what sides i wanted. The DD app doesnt allow you to choose the entree without choosing both sides! The driver also pointed out they didn't start my order til she arrived to the restaurant and inquired on it. Driver also mentioned a 30+ minute wait is a regular experience here. For context: my order was scheduled by 8am and acknowledged by the restaurant by 3pm. My driver had not arrived til nearly 4pm. I see little excuse here. I want to give them a 3 star review. But, food is the priority here and they did that well. "
