"Didn't get our orders right. Could have forgiven that if the meat wasn't so dry and chewy. They didn't put any of the requested guac or sour cream in the California Burrito. They put it on the side so I had to unroll my burrito and put it on myself which the tortilla was so soggy that it fell apart trying to pick it up"

"FINALLY a solid order. My salad actually had a decent amount of lettuce/spinach, true double meat, and plenty of the extras I ordered. Too many times have I ordered and received a sad, depressing salad with nothing but half-scoops, sloshing around because someone decided speed was better than quality.
Keep up the great work!"
"I have ordered from Chipotle before but it has never been this bad. i got a Burrito Bowl and there was only like 7 pieces of chicken and then a ton of rice. it was also cold and that has never been a problem before, maybe they were in the middle of a lunch rush but I don't know. It tasted good but the ratios of rice to cheese to chicken (etc) was just off."

"My favorite Mexican restaurant in Ankeny. The food is always delicious and you get a lot of food for the price. The California Burrito is huge."
"I was sad when our favorite Mexican restaurant on the north side closed. But I am so glad I found Hernandez's. I order door dash lunch from here at least once a week. I have never been disappointed. The food is flavorful and has a nice sized portion for the lunch menu. The packaging is always perfect and it includes chips and salsa and plastic ware. Most importantly, my meal has always been prepared correctly - even with my goofy modifications. Hernandez's for the WIN!"

"Huge rip off on ordering half rack of ribs. The meal cost over $20 and the two half rack meals we got had three ribs that were very light on the amount of meat. we've gotten chili ribs in the past and it's always been more for the dollar. "So, said it before and will say it again...Get. Everything. The asada Burrito with tomatillo salsa was super delicious, but the Mexican Corn? 👀👀👀 It was creamy goodness!! And the Torta Birria French Dip has no business being that tasty. I think that could truly be my forever meal. Churros have the most pleasant texture, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were the best way to finish the meal. Love the smile they left, and joy they put into their food. You can taste it 🥰. Highly recommend this place, they never disappoint! ❤️"

"CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKES do not have icing and cinnamon filling (they used to, so this must have been an update). The portion is filling but the flavor is not there. Wouldn't order again.
CREME BRULEE FRENCH TOAST was okay but lacked the caramelized sugar.
The Churro Waffle, however, has been consistently amazing every time. I would recommend ordering that."
"The CORN BEEF HASH was wonderful and plentiful. I added onions and peppers to make is close to the original. The eggs were overmedium instead of overeasy, but it was still tasty. An option for salt and pepper would be great."

"Genuinely my favorite restaurant. They are amazinni also bought a slice of tres leches cake on the side and it was amazing! The Cuban has always been a favorite I've been eating here for years and I have truly never had a bad experience, not even a mediocre experience, every single time I have eaten there, ordered door dash delivery or door dash pick up from here I have been 100% satisfied."
"This a truly hidden gem on the east side.
Todays El Americano was by far the best I've ever had I think they may have changed the bacon supplier because it was absolutely delicious If you've never had their salsa on the eggs you're missing out Everything was fresh and generously portioned. Definitely in my top two breakfast spots in DSM"

"The El Patron Platter Special was a perfect blend of delicious proteins and vegetables in a creamy cheese sauce. The rice was cooked to perfection. It was an amazing medley in the mouth. The portion was more than generous. It also came with very soft tortillas and a bag of chips and salsa. Will definitely reorder."
"Everytime i eat there or door dash its incredible! I usually get it for lunch during work but sometimes on the weekends even though it's a bit of a drive from home I bring my family out here. And they enjoyed it as much as I do! There is always warm and fresh. And all the portions are huge! My favorite plate from them is the parilladas. But their huevos a la mexicana are to die for!"

"It still tasted good but it was weird. The burrito was about 4 inches long. Like it was rolled up normally the turned and rolled up again. It was very odd and difficult and messy to eat. "
"The taste is always amazing and beats out the competition. The portion sizes are perfect and they don't skimp out. The freshness of the food always amazes me. I would order this again and again. The steak is always cooked so perfectly! Great job"
