I ordered the Whiting Fish Platter, and the flavor was good. The fish was seasoned ok and cooked nicely. My only real concern was the portion size. For the price, I was a little surprised to receive only two pieces of whiting. I honestly expected a bit more, especially considering the cost.
The food itself was ok, but I’m on the fence about whether I’d order again because of the portion sizes compared to the prices. If the portions were a little larger, I’d have no problem ordering again.

"I had never ordered from Sappore before, but I was craving a Philly cheesesteak and found them through DoorDash’s “Happy Hour” section. First of all, bravo to them for offering an affordable menu during select times—something rare these days! Let me tell you, this is the spot I’ve been searching for in Atlantic County. I was nearly in tears because everything was just that good.
The Philly cheesesteak? Glorious. It’s massive—basically like two full cheesesteaks in one—and the flavors are incredible. It’s fresh, perfectly seasoned, and easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had since Gino’s. No exaggeration.
The pizza? Beautiful. It was perfectly made, fresh, and delicious. Even the cheese fries were warm, fresh, and made with care.
What truly impressed me were the little details—Sappore sent paper plates, ketchup, and utensils with my order. I can’t remember the last time a place went above and beyond like that. They genuinely care about their food and customers, and it shows.
I don’t eat out often, but when I do, I expect food to be worth the money and far from mediocre. Sappore delivered in every way. 5 stars all the way! I can’t wait to order from them again. Keep up the amazing work!

Chicken Marsala was prepared with imitation marsala wine, overpowered with an entire can of mushrooms. Not one level of this entry level, easily prepared saute item was edible. The thin pasta was starchy and overcooked.
My guest ordered a grilled cheese sandwich on wheat bread with soggy french fries.
With my food bill at fifty dollars I would only suggest other options for Italian food.
Sappore take-out containers have been poorly chosen, guaranteeing the guest steamed items. Side salads are crammed into a 4x4 container; a small chunk of iceberg lettuce, a black olive, a thick slice of non-shaved cucumber and a quarter of hard tomato.
The entire dinner was such a disappointment after a ten hour workday."

"PROS: The bread was delicious, fresh n fluffy. My husband liked his chicken Parmigiana as the breast was tender n juicy but he hated the spaghetti. The soups were great yay. The Mozzarella Sticks were great. The Arancini (5) very nice too. Steak Stromboli was nice, big n tasty.
CONS: Unfortunately my chicken Marsala was not good at all flat n flavorless. Used to be great. Not sure if this the original owners or a new one but it's completely different from the OG Little Italy. Not enough sauce or Marsala flavor, chicken was dry. Bummer. Meatballs (2) were not good. The Eggplant Rollatini tasted thick, heavy n too cheesy sadly. The gravy was good tho.
I must point out that we feel a bit bait n switched because the restaurant we thought we were ordering from was Giovanni's Best of Italy NOT Little Italy (what we received). We get lured in because we wouldn't have gotten Little Italy since being sold as the quality has dramatically changed. Strange experience so yeah. Better luck next time."
