The Veggie Special was packed with
peppers, olives, onions, mushrooms

With a Neapolitan crust, this amount
of vegetables would have made it
soggy. But with Zois, the cake-like
Greek crust, absorbed water given
off by the veggies and still remained
crispy and toothsome. The large
portion of cheese balanced the lack
of processed meats. So Zois makes
it easier to eat healthy !
A similar story for the Veggie Flor-
entine. Veggies give off more water
per item, but the Greek crust had a
firm and dry undercarriage and the

"This is my Hickory Burger from the Wood-n-Tap restaurant, which I ordered at the peak dinner hour of exactly 6:22. I ordered my burger exactly as it is on the menu at the cook temperature of Medium Rare. I do like my burger to be quite pink so I ALWAYS order delivered red meat more rare than I would in a restaurant as the meat will keep cooking in the box & bag on the way to my house-just a tip for food ordering newbies and this goes double for steak orders.
I received my order earlier than expected by about 10 minutes about 37 minutes total time from order to delivery...and it was ABOVE AND BEYOND AMAZING. Considering the 20something degree temperature outside and a 15-20 mile trip from restaurant to my home everything arrived incredibly well.
I ordered 2 of these burgers, 1 for myself and one for my hubby. The frizzled onions were still awesomely crispy, i almostwish I added extra even though im stuffed to capacity cuz they were so awesome. Frizzled onions are something that I find even when I order and eat inside a restaurant can often be a very hard item to nail and they NAILED IT- these were fantastic. The bacon was still crisp, the fries were warm and clearly not fresh from the fryer because they'd obviously been delivered, but they definitely still had a crispness to them. As you can see in the photos (and if you've ever ordered high end takeout or just brought home leftovers before) you probably know that condensation can sometimes be an issue in travel- its the tax you pay to not have to leave your home for incredibly amazing food.
I took a few photos, this way you can see what a delivery of this burger's doneness at medium rare in delivery at my time, temperature and distance looks like, as well as the burger's size which was bigger than my entire hand- I will say my hand is a woman's hand and I wouldn't say I have a large hand at all, but I'd say the burger was pretty darn large. I apologize for having taken my photo of the entire box of food with a bite taken from it, it just smelled and looked so amazingly delicious and I was so hungry that I just had to take a giant bite.
This was my very first time ever ordering from Wood-n-Tap, but I can assure you it will not be my last. This burger was juicy, lean, seasoned amazingly and beefy- exactly what I was craving- a REAL BURGER. This is not some puny paper thin fast food mystery meat grease bomb. If thats what you're craving you know where to go to get it. But with prices these days, with a total plus tip not much more than one of those neon sign fast food joints... I'll take Wood-n-Tap over that other trash ANYDAY! If I could give 20 stars I would!"
"The Dirty Chicken Wrap was so good. I loved the tangy sauce. The portion was big and all the ingredients tasted fresh! I loved that the avocado was actually RIPE! That was the best part. I'm usually iffy about dishes with avocado but this one did not disappoint! I'm glad I ordered it! The Steak Taco was my favorite. The Shrimp Taco was good too but I preferred the savory steak. I am so full from those three things that I'll have to eat my Caesar Salad Caesar Salad Large and Spinach Artichoke Flatbread later tonight. I am hopeful they will be just as good. "We have enjoyed meals from Villa Lulu in the past. It has been a whilesince our last order, however. This meal did not, unfortunately, hit all the past high marks. The meals were tepid in temperature. The Linguini Cacio E Pepe was glued together, but tasty. My gnocchi dish was also delicious lovely sauce, toothsome gnocchi. Both pasta dishes were less generous than in the past and given the price. The artichoke appetizer, while generous in quantity, was virtually inedible. The pieces of deep-fried artichoke looked so crispy appealing but tasted neither of artichoke nor the lightly acidic packing liquid. All we tasted was cooking oil. One seemed to get a near mouthful of oil instead of nice vegetal texture and flavor. We each did not finish our portions. The Cannolis were ok. The shell was thick and not soggy. The filing was fresh, nice flavor. They were not presented as is the menu photo. The cannoli were missing the chopped pistachios . Instead a small amount of the nuts were tossed into the serving container.
Food prices are high for restaurants right now, and places are often understaffed. Restaurants are working hardto stay aflo at. We get that. But the issues we experienced tonight could have been better managed."
