"I am not very impressed with the Meltdown. Food prep time was long, and delivery time kept getting pushed back. I was originally supposed to receive my food around 12:45pm but that is around the time that it was picked and to be delivered. Food arrived cold and poorly packaged. The box it arrived in was wide open, which is probably why it was cold. Either the dasher opened the box and helped himself to my fries, or the restaurant didn't care enough to make sure the box was properly closed, I can't be sure at this point. The food itself was poor in quality. My Talkin' Turkey Melt - Combo sandwich barely had any meat, any sauce, or any cheese. It was just one piece of turkey, bacon, cheese, and tomato squished between two tough, stale, greasy slices of bread. The images provided on doordash are very misleading, you will not be receiving a nice thick, savory sandwich you can really did your teeth into, what I had the pleasure of biting into today was more akin to cardboard. There are significantly better options for sandwiches in Boerne, and I recommend this place to no one. "

"Everything we ordered: the platters and gyro were perfect!! This was our first time ordering from here. Portions were very generous, I wanted a gyro but also ordered the platter because I thought the gyro may be small and lacking, so I prepared to supplement with the platter (I got lamb and chicken- husband got lamb)... as a side note: I am pregnant and the cravings are real!! My initial impression was wrong, the meat and veggies were fresh and my traditional gyro was stuffed to the gills! I didn't end up eating much of my platter gyro/chicken mix, but tasted the chicken shawarma and it was so flavorful!! I can't wait to eat tomorrow. We also loved the hummus!! My husband loved the rice, I was too full to even try, but he was happy and we both agreed we would order again!!
The only downside is that I wish they gave an option for adding extra feta, pita and tatziki (again this may be my pregnant brain- but I would have probably spent an extra $10 on those alone!!) thank you for satisfying this outside Chicago girls craving and leaving me wanting me!
