So food is good but just know you are going to be paying twice the price compared to street vendors. You're better off going to downtown San Jose to La michoacana. "

"It's been awhile since I've been here but this has always been my go to spot for good Mexican food. For some time they were really messing up on their orders and either missing something important or that flavor was way off.
Tacos Al Pastor is the place I normally go to for their Chili Verde and my niece was over tonight and asked if I knew of a place that made great Chili Verde that wasn't too spicy. I ordered her the kid's meal with a chili verde mini burrito which came with rice and beans and a can of soda all for $9.50!!
That is a great price considering everything else going up in price faster that it takes you to take a deep breath. She ate everything and said that she never tasted chili verde like she just had.
We also got a BOGO carnitas taco that was overloaded with meat plus chicken flautas. I must say, looks like Tacos Al Pastor is back in the saddle again, so to speak.
I'm really glad I gave them a chance tonight because everyone that ate tonight were extremely happy with what they ate and very pleased with the quantity, the quality and the pricing. You just can't go wrong.

"This is HUGE. I ate maybe a third of it and I over did it with that. They are very generous with the toppings. I did order extra cheese, sour cream and butter because I don't like a dry potato and I could have gotten by with their normal amount. Anyway, the Triple Meat Baked Potato (Tres Carnes) is so good. The potato was perfectly cooked. I went with shrimp, chorizo and bacon. The shrimp were fresh (black vein removed) and had a slight bite to them and they were savory, the bacon was cooked well and the chorizo isn't quite like my Grandma used to make but it was still good. It is definitely a nice comfort meal. Looking forward to getting one again, especially once the cold weather is bad."
