"This was, without question, the worst food I’ve ever ordered on DoorDash.
I chose this restaurant because I was craving authentic South Indian food. What I got was nothing like the menu descriptions and nowhere near authentic.
The Thattu Dosa was advertised as thin rice crepes, but what arrived looked and tasted more like a thick naan-style bread. Calling it a dosa is misleading.
The Egg Dosa claimed to be a crispy dosa filled with spiced scrambled eggs. Instead, there was a tiny bite of plain egg wrapped inside another flatbread. No crispiness, no seasoning, no flavor—just disappointment.
The Egg Parotta was equally awful. Completely bland, lifeless, and tasted like it had no seasoning whatsoever.
The Sambar was nothing more than yellow-colored water with two tiny pieces of vegetables floating in it. It had none of the rich taste or consistency that authentic sambar should have.
The only edible parts of this entire order were the coconut chutney and the can of Coke Zero—which wasn’t even made by the restaurant.
I paid over $53 for this meal, and it felt like I threw my money straight in the bin. If you’re looking for authentic South Indian food, save your money and go somewhere else. This restaurant seriously needs to stop advertising these dishes the way they do because what I received was nothing like what was promised. I will never order from here again."

"Probably my favourite Indian restaurant in chch, so maybe my expectations were a bit too high. The Samosas were delightful, the roti was pretty mid; doughy and dense, and the curry-- I dunno, it didn't look or taste like a Madras. Yellow in colour without a hint of red or even orange from chili or tomato. The chicken was a bit tough, and the curry tasted more like Korma. It wasn't bad, just strange."
"Unfortunately, my experience was nothing like what I expected. During my previous dine-in visit, I ordered a lamb biryani and specifically requested "medium to hot" spice. At most restaurants, that spice level is enjoyable and easy to eat, but here it was far too spicy to finish. To make things worse, when I asked to dine in, my meal was initially packed as takeaway until I reminded the staff that I wanted to eat in the restaurant.
Because of that experience, this time I deliberately ordered only "medium" spice through delivery, thinking it would be milder. Instead, it was once again extremely spicy and completely inedible. I had to throw the food in the bin because I simply couldn't eat it.
It seems the restaurant does not pay attention to customers' requested spice levels. Whether you order "medium to hot" or just "medium," the food still comes out excessively spicy. I visited this restaurant based on a trusted recommendation, but unfortunately I've had two disappointing experiences."
