They had to close early due to an emergency and was unable to fulfill the entire order, such as the Tarte au Citron, which I understand. They were lovely about it and provided two of their chocolate gateaus explaining the situation. Their service was wonderful, and I wish I could give them five stars for service. The reason for my rating is that the eclairs and croissant were fine, not great. The coffee one was subpar to be honest. The mini croissant was comically small for the price. I would have been fine with it if everything had a bakery quality taste. Instead, the desserts reminded me of store brand desserts. The gateaus were bland but my partner liked the texture. The item that did stand out was the Quiche Jardinière. My partner loved it and had no critiques. "

"The fish is fresh. I thought because it's a $2 charge for regular batter, that it would be heavy. I picked light batter, but it means pretty much no batter, and to me, fish being battered defines fish n chips so that was highly disappointing. Growing up on the Oregon coast, I've never heard of charging for batter. The prices seem extreme, and I think it's sad. It's sad because we spent almost $40 for one order of "lightly" battered fish n chips, coleslaw and a cup of clam chowder. I won't get express my disappointment on the clam chowder, I forget it's a gluten free cart I believe, maybe that's the issue. It is a very small cup of chowder for ten dollars. We did not end up eating it. I rarely pay $10 for clam chowder in Cannon Beach at a restaurant with table service, besides paying $10 from a food cart in the middle of town. It was gummy and bland. Don't do it..."
