"My first time to try what I ordered and I thought it was great. I'm always looking to replicate dishes that were my favorites in 41 years in Hawaii and this is the first time in 13,years that any restaurant has come so close to my favorite Hawaii banh mi sandwich. The pickled vegetables contributed just the right surprise when you bit into them and the sheered beef was flavorful. I love cilantro so was in seventh heaven at their giving me the extra I asked for (you can say leave it off if it's not your favorite). Finally, the baguette was traditional with a crispy crust while simultaneously being gentle on your palate. Which means uber fresh. Gosh, so yummy. The pork bun was tasty and was loaded with tasty sauced pieces of pork with a light touch of cilantro and some veggies. Not too many but hey buns are small. In fact, you get two sandwiches in the order. So do get some lunch or dinner from this restaurant and be ready to oooh and aaaw as you munch away. P.S. since my sandwich was vegetarian, the "beef" I referred to must be faux beef. A first for me and it was terrific!"
