the beef kabob plate was great. beef kebab is standard like other middle eastern restaurants. they use very long grain basamati rice. very nice and authentic. pita bread is thick and fluffy. i like this kind of pita bread compared to the drier ones that look like tortillas.
the kabob plate is decently filling. maybe a bit expensive at $23. maybe $15 is more in line with the amount you get. but its very well made so maybe $18 tops. but thats just my opinion."

The shrimps were cooked to perfection! So as you can imagine I was eagerly looking forward to them when I ordered them the second time. Boy was I disappointed, what was supposed to steak was mainly pieces of fat! There was hardly any chicken to be found and the overall portion was significantly less. This is not a cheap item. The cheese rolls were a new addition for me, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delightfully crispy they were – a perfect little treat! The small spicy potatoes had a surprising kick to them, but they were still incredibly flavorful and paired perfectly with the rest of the meal. The beef kebob and chicken skewer were both juicy and tender, not dry at all, with the (beef) meat still slightly pink inside – just the way I like it. Everything was beautifully prepared, and the garlic and tzatziki cups added that extra touch of flavor.

"Compared to other restaurants this place was actually bad. We didnt eat much of our meal. Chicken and beef were not seasoned well (over seasoned and weird spices) and overcooked. Rice wasnt good. I had specifically asked for extra lettuce and tomatoes, but they did the opposite and added more chicken and beef instead. The meat also tasted bland and seemed boiled, with no real flavor. "Favorite place on DD in my area. Consistently hooks it up when I order very late ( idk what the night cook is doing but food might even be better after 11:30). Never gotten bad food from here.
I always order either the Habibi mix platter or one of the shawarma platters. The crispy pita bits are a great touch, the pickled onions are great, the meat is always cooked perfectly, and the whole meal is spot on every time.
I never order without buying a Hummus Container. I buy pita chips at the store just to eat them when I order this hummus.
