We did get the garlic bread too and the pasta was saucy enough to dip the bread in - our favorite thing to do when we have creamy pastas."
"We have enjoyed many orders from here over the past few months. Each has been very good. but over the last month or so, the orders have gone from very good to absolutely outstanding! "With me having a previous order of the fries, I knew what I was getting with a high quality of food! My order this time was the Meat Fries and the garden salad! The Meat Fries were all I expected and more! Excellent food! On the other hand, although I didn't get a chance to get to the Regular Salad , the ingredients were fresh! The only flaw in the Regular Salad was the notion of the green bell peppers! Not my cup of tea! The portion was more than I can eat at one session!"
"After dashing for a few hours locally late night or early mornings I know I can make a quick stop here before heading home. I like bacon burger combos and shrimp baskets. They got it. "I've always loved the food here. so glad their on DD now. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Nashville Chicken Sandwich. it was spicy but so delicious especially dipped in Buttermilk Ranch . the Beef Brisket Sandwich was juicy and tender."
"Flavors of the sliced brisket and hot links were delicious! Didn't give much brisket though compared to how many sausages you get. They gave full-sized sides which was awesome - bigger than I expected. The Mac and cheese was a lil funky.... but I wasn't mad at it. Just not my favorite! Coleslaw was pretty standard but still flavorful. Tasted like the used some onion in it which I appreciate. Cornbread was dry and no sweetness - will probably have the leftover with some butter and sprinkle a little sugar. Biggest disappointment: my slice of key lime pie was so tiny that it was comical! Which is a shame, because it was the best key lime pie I've ever had! Not worth the price unless they can be more generous. Overall, a little steep but I mostly enjoyed my meal."

"Both my parents are from the South and I can say that each item I ordered reminded me of their cooking when I was growing up. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, greens tender and well seasoned with a nice smoky flavor from the meat. Mac n cheese was nice and moist with the perfect balance of little crisp from baking in the oven, and the beans and rice were delicious too.
I was sooo pleased with everything, and felt comfortable eating because they staple your bag together! Thank you so much Fixins!"
"GREAT FOOD! Amazing flavor, not too salty or spicy, hot, fresh and good price point. The chicken was fried to perfection! The YAMS!!!!!! OMG!!!! DIVINE!!!!!!!!! just the right sweet and texture, not mushy - just perfect!!! The greens seemed like a mix of a little sweet, and spicy, but delicious! and the MAC was cheesy mac-N (lol) delicious!!! Looking forward to more another time :)"

"The food is so flavorful and good! One of the best in DTLA! I had this food during a meeting last week and the food was so good, that I decided to look them up on DoorDash my order. "Got the jerk chicken bowl and Large Jerk Plate. Nice portions for both. Very flavorful and perfect level of spice "
"The 8 oz bowl of Mac & Cheese side was half full and had bland flavor. Like velveeta cheese? The Oxtail Bowl is very tiny portions. Just 3 pieces of oxtail. Too much sauce over the very soggy rice and cabbage. And the flavor was just salty. No balance of sweetness. The coco bread was the only good thing, although overpriced. I will not order again."

"This was my first visit. Door dasher had to wait stating the line was long. A long line usually means the food is good. It was tasty and filling. I Could not eat it all at one sitting. Eggs were perfect, unseasoned. Sausage had enough seasoning to compliment the eggs. Potato's with veggies were tasty. Chicken was crispy and lightly seasoned. It was all good. Would definitely order from here again."
"The catfish was very tasty, cooked the way I like it and I wished that there were two pieces. The pork chop was delicious as well...all of the side dishes were very tasty, especially the potatoes! I would definitely order again, but I wanted more than one piece of meat each. Yes I would recommend it to a friend...yummy!"
