"I can always count on Pilgrim Diner for a delicious order. They follow my instructions for specific requests. I usually order eggs and they are never overcooked or brown--neither are the scrambled eggs/omelettes undercooked and runny. They are equally meticulous about their home fries with onions. The potatoes are cooked through to a golden brown and the onions are always starting to nicely carmelize. You know they care about what they are doing when one of the simplest items on the menu is prepared so well. Thanks to everyone there!"

"i was a lil questionable at first because i never had it before but this was excellent the mac and yams taste so good together and the cornbread is moist and soft the chicken wing was perfectly seasoned and cooked well 10/10 highly recommend oh and the uptown taste like lipton tea mix but it's not to sweet but just right"
"The wings and shrimp lacked seasoning and the portion size was small for the price. The collard greens were bland. The mac and cheese was very heavy on the black pepper to the point where it drowned out any other flavor. My uptown was way too sweet; I couldn't even taste the drink itself, just the sugar. Overall, I would say this isn't a great place if you're looking for good soul food. I would not order from here again."
