Good vegetarian options; great basic low-fluff meal that still tastes really good. One note: rice is not automatically included in your order. In terms of the actual meal, the edamame was well cooked and flavored; tasted fresh! The sweet potato tempura roll was a good portion -6 rolls- and not excessively sweet. The miso soup was also tasty but I thought it came with tofu; not sure if it's meant to but it would've been great if it did have some tofu or the option to add it on. "

I also ordered 3 different rolls which came with some sides of soy sauce. I noticed the rolls tasted exceptionally delicious but my mouth was so dry and I kept needing to stop eating to guzzle water. After several bites I realized that I was used to reduced sodium soy sauce and the restaurant's quality was regular sodium (aka high sodium and high flavor) soy sauce which is why the sushi tasted so different but in a yummy, albeit less healthy, way. I still loved it, just be aware in case you are on a low-sodium diet."

"Grilled beef and Chashu Pork was phenomenal. pork and seared beef are tender yet flavorful, the portion is pretty generous - i ordered it for my 30 min lunch break and split it into two which felt like an appropriately satiating meal (and now i have dinner) broth was very favorful without being overly salty and quite a generous serving as i usually find myself not having enough but this time i had some left over. only thing i would ask for is the ability to order it spicier but i just did it myself! "Love the tempura shrimp roll and the tempura seet potato roll! So fresh!"

"I had a very disappointing and honestly disturbing experience at this restaurant. I was served a glass of water that had a bright pink lipstick stain around the rim, clearly someone else’s. This is a serious sanitation issue and completely unacceptable. I brought it to the waiter’s attention and asked if they could speak to the owner about offering a discount for the inconvenience. When the check came back, it was $65 with only a $6 discount, which did not reflect the severity of the issue. I then spoke to the owner directly, hoping for a more reasonable resolution. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner was extremely rude. She threw my card at me and told me I should leave. When I tried to calmly ask why she was behaving that way, she ignored me and continued with an attitude. What made it worse is that she never even apologized for the fact that I was served a dirty glass. I’ve been to this restaurant many times before and would have been willing to overlook the mistake if they had simply shown proper customer service, a sincere apology and a fair resolution. Instead, I was treated disrespectfully for raising a legitimate health concern. I will never return, and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Cleanliness and basic respect for customers should be the bare minimum."

It was a bit heavy on the turmeric or yellow food coloring and the basmatic rice grains were on the thicker side than I expected. It also wasn't oily which I really liked. The Amritsari Fish Pakora was tasty and fresh. You get a nice amount. Was mild as requested. The Palak Paneer was also fresh and tasty. Was perfectly mild and not heavy on the cream which I prefer. The Kheer was like homemade and delicately spiced with cardamom and real saffron threads. "
