"Always always get taco casa when we can. If you remember old school Taco Bell (1980s/90s) Taco Casa is your place. They do only a few items and what they do is excellent. If you remember the original enchirito from TB the Chilada is the enchirito on steroids and the super salad is old school fresh shredded lettuce beans meat cheese and topping the flour tortilla bowl is fresh and not greasy. So so good. I am 8 miles for delivery and it always arrives fresh and hot. Don't know how they do it. "

"The food from this taco Casa on Denton Highway is very good. I have a taco Casa here in Hurst literally three blocks down the road, but the food from the one in city is fresher... How this can be I don't know but it is so. Unfortunately I have run into a bit of of a problem. In the past taco Casa has put my extra cheese on the side in a separate container. Recently I haven't been getting my extra cheese on the side, I like the extra cheese on the side so I can distribute it as I see fit. Except for the extra cheese situation I have no complaints, the food is very good."

"Taco Casa Texas uses like maybe 10 ingredients, I can only think of nine, they're out of onion today at the Denton Highway location. The food is OK. I suspect they've made a change to their ground beef, I believe they've added some sort of a binder, flower or cornstarch or something to absorb the grease. In the past if the meat was greasy the grease would drip out of the taco shell. That's not happening now and the meat had a greasy taste today. It's not just the Denton Highway location, I've tried several taco casas in the past few weeks, and they all have the same taste like something has been added to the ground beef. My suggestion is, change it back! Taco Casa had a good freshly made taste that is now going the way of Taco Bell. Taco Bell's meat tastes like dog food smells, and I don't eat at Taco Bell anymore."

"We normally get NY Joe's in Crowley, but they are closed for some time due to staffing issues. Anyway, I got the slice of cheese pizza.It was pretty good, no complaints. I always try the pizza, lasagna, sub sandwich, and spaghetti at new restaurants. My husband got the spaghetti and salad. He said that it was good, as far as spaghetti goes. He said the salad was ok, too. I got the lasagna, and it was disappointing. It was mostly meat, sauce, and cheese. It was missing the noodles, big time. I'm going to cook some pasta tomorrow and use it as the sauce. After the HUGE slice of pizza and the 1/4 of the container of lasagna, I was too full to try the Philly sub. So I will try it tomorrow. One thing I noticed was that it didn't go from end to end with the meat, cheese, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It was pretty sad on the filling, unfortunately.
