"The Tacos Pollo Asado is great and I love that they use two tortillas for each taco so it doesn't rip while you eat. My husband loved the Burri Mi Casita (Grilled Steak)too. The portions are great and very filling and you get quite a bit of beans and rice on the side of each dish. The tacos came with two different salsas. I'd also like to add that the customer service is great. There was a mistake on the DoorDasher's end but the restaurant called me themselves to clear it up and they were SO kind. "I’ll admit upfront that I might be a bit biased coming from the West Coast, my expectations for Mexican food are pretty high. That said, this food truck landed somewhere in the middle for me. Not bad, but not particularly memorable either.
The biggest issue for me was the value. For the price I paid, the portions didn’t really match up. I ordered the El Jefe taco box, and the amount of meat was surprisingly minimal. Honestly felt more like scraps than a proper serving.
Flavor wise, everything felt a bit muted. Nothing really stood out, and I found myself wishing for a bit more seasoning or depth overall.
The presentation was nice, and it came with sides like sauce and cucumber, but those felt more like add-ons rather than something that elevated the tacos themselves. Also, no lime which feels like a small detail, but it really makes a difference and was definitely missed.

"A restaurant that cares. Packaging was with care for delivery. Even the napkin that was enclosed with the food looked like a real napkin that you would use at home. A cloth napkin but it wasn't. The Bandeja Paisa was everything it looked like in the pics online. The shredded beef was seasoned well. Fresh sliced avocado! The pinto beans were great! It was all great for the price.
