"Chicken Combo has always been my go to. I love the katsu sauce and the bbq chicken is soo good and juicy. I was glad to find out thePick Two Entrees plate that has a salad instead of macaroni salad (I'm allergic to mayo) I can't eat the macaroni. First time trying the fire chicken ; it's really good and tasty. It does have a little quick to it but not as spicy as I thought. "I grew up on the Big Island and we have been getting the Family Meal regularly for years. It was always great, and a step above L&L.Tonight we ordered the same Family Meal and it is clear that that Kona Hawaiian BBQ is cutting costs to improve profits. The meat came sliced (which was nice) but was clearly way less meat than we've received in the past. They increased the amount of cabbage under the meat (also nice), but not if that means less meat for the same price. Overall, beware that the portions have changed significantly and I'm not sure it's worth the cost, especially on DoorDash."
