"OMG this place has the BEST Chinese food! Every time we order it's phenomenal. Very flavorful & everything is cooked perfectly. Nothing is under or overcooked, soggy, bland, or excessively greasy (almost all Chinese food is greasy to some degree, but it can be excessive at some places - here, it's perfectly balanced) & nothing is ever missing from our order. We've tried several items from their menu, usually as combos. This time we ordered everything 'a la carte' & it was all delicious & cooked beautifully. The only thing we noticed is that the portion of the Honey Walnut Prawns dinner entree was almost the same as the portion they give in the combo, for about the same price. We expected more since it was a la carte, & we were splitting all this food between 4 people, but there was only enough shrimp for 2. So we got a few pieces of shrimp each. But other than that, the food was outstanding."

"Ok, I picked these up 20 minutes ago. I drove home put away laundry. I just opened the plastic containers and the Fried Wonton Chips (10) are still extremely crispy, but not oily! "Folsom Palace has the best Chinese food in the area, if not all of Northern California. Their Kung Pao chicken is super flavorful, fresh, no fat, made to perfection. It's enough for two or three people, or you'll have great leftovers the next day. I always get it with their vegetable fried rice, which is delicious. The whole meal is extremely satisfying and whether you go there in person or get takeout, they are consistent, and delicious. One of the most important things to me when I'm eating Chinese food is the quality of the meat. It is great.
